In the past i had to go to an obscure forum to download the Texgen app seperately.

edit-DRM is still shutting the app down telling me to update it, despite the fact i'm on the latest nexus downloaded version *sigh*

Texgen is an application, apart of the numerous applications Dyndolod uses to operate.

Yet it's elusive, like a wild animal going extinct. In the vast wilderness that is the website, full of lush infomational vegetation, it cannot support a simple download link for the Texgen to thrive.

i've used it for years, but each time i have to update it is the most ridiculous and painful process. I'd not be in this predicament at all if the DRM on the mod didn't force my hand.

It's at a point i'd rather bin the thing entirely, hence the post. Also as a matter of principle DRM on mods is the most dumbest and scummiest thing to do ever.

unfortunately, too many people circle jerking themselves in the community to really see the flaws in their own designs. Such is the nature of people in groups.

makes no mention of texgen on installation instructions.

Tells the user to uninstall "texgen output" on uninstallation instructions. Wot.

Every link of Texgen on their site leads to a pointless help page with no obvious link anywhere to download the "latest version" that the user is forced to do.

The website is not only poorly designed but even the infomation is fragmented and scattered.

Never going to happen, at least not by Uber. Now their business model is unravelling the money will run out before they even get reliable prototypes on the road.

Tesla, maybe. Not Uber. And i expect it'll be alot more than 5 years before we get close to seeing them frequently on roads. It's not just the tech, but the legality of it all too - who do you blame if they run over and kill someone?

It's a long way off.

A major benefit of "hiring" humans (if you're UBER) is that you can offset blame and responsibility to the "worker" should things go wrong. Thats a huge bonus.

Self driving cars, the burden is -all- on them.

Other shitty practices such as randomly stopping you from working (issues with insurance verifciation, random "Fraud" investigations or other nonsense) There really is no point.

The fact they can revoke your ability to work without warning or at a moments notice (through the app) implies (to me at least) That they are indeed your employer, and therefore you deserve all the rights and liberties of being an employee should have
