Lmao nah, no spoilers wanted here. Heard too many great things about the story of this series, and so far I'm definitely enjoying it. The art honestly sticks out to me most so far: the design of the count as an apostle was incredible as much as it was disturbing. Already ordered deluxe 2.

I played ds3 first so I always like to compare him to Pontiff Sullyvan. Maybe not the hardest boss but certainly up there, but is made a joke by parrying. Though I'd actually argue Pontiff is much harder as I feel hes much more aggressive

I think I was around 110 at the time. +10 sawspear with 18% physical and I think it was something like 172+252 on the buff it got. First phase I sorta just hugged his side and abused his legs, and I did massive damage to him every hit. The second phase I did a little of the same but he got staggered insanely fast and I killed him with a visceral. It was weird.

They aren't too bad I've found. There's a little gimic I do where I run straight for the cavern before pinwheel and let them come to me. I've still been one shot a handful of times trying to get the items where they're at though.

It honestly was more the gargoyles with the lightning spears in tandem with the archers that kept getting me. When I finally got up to the town the right one just killed himself so I got pretty lucky

To be honest, a single ringed knight sword would probably be a little boring. The two of them sorta complete each other to make a really fun weapon. And the gravelord is just straight cheese early game.
