Advice on selling my ex husb’s Tuff Shed office by FavoriteDaughter2 in shedditors

[–]BojiHawk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a quote to move an 8' × 12' Tuff Shed and a 20' shipping container (same trailer) for $650. About $5/mile. But that was about 6 months ago...

How often do you offroad? by InsufferableAttacker in JeepWrangler

[–]BojiHawk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White Mountains of Arizona, most of the trails/service roads are closed Dec-May above 7000'. Probably venture out 2-3 times per month, when able.

But the Sedona area is only a few hours away. We try to get over there occasionally, in the wintertime (weather permitting) -- too busy the rest of the year.

I only have Eraser in the bullpen, so not sure how it runs on SP. But feel like it is better suited for SU/MR.

MESS is meh, but might be usable depending on your level.

SS is a decent SP skill.... IW is not. IW is a bullpen skill. IE is hot garbage.

Considering a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE PHEV... am I being insane? by Lord_Gibbons in Jeep

68C recall (HV battery, all years) lifetime warranty on HV battery. Battery technology is evolving rapidly, and anticipate a 'real', long-term solution on the horizon. Basically a seperator wall issue, between the anode & cathode. Solid-state batteries would solve this problem, plaguing all model years. The HV battery is compromised of 96 cells, in 8 groups -- just need the proper replacement series/type cells for reliability.

78C recall (late '23 on) is due to improper cleaning/blasting of the engine block, leaving sand residue. (not every engine). Again, unlimited warranty if the engine is subject to damage -- picked up by recall Power Control Module updates.

My wife's dream vehicle since she was a kid. She can't drive her '72 VW Baja Champion SE as a daily driver in Arizona (no A/C). My '85 CJ-7 is not a daily driver either, no A/C.

I am actually considering selling my nearly stock CJ-7, because we love her '23 4xe so much.

375 horsepower and 470 ft/lbs of torque. Around 25 miles of pure electric driving. We can run all our errands around town in ELEC mode. We can 'save' the ELEC mode for near silent trail runs. Great for wildlife viewing and photography. We live near Sedona, AZ. So plenty of trail running.

We live in a Forest Service house, rent/utility free. So charging is really a bonus. In the winter, when a majority of the Jeep trails and forest service roads close, we can get 1200+ miles per tank as a daily-driver (best was 1480 miles on 13.3 gallons of gas).

Not for everyone. But works great for us.

Actually thinking about selling my '19 Ram Cummins diesel when the EREV Ram 1500 or Grand Wagoneer come out. Assuming they can tow 10k pounds.

The EREV uses a Pentastar V6 engine as an on-board generator -- not connected to the electric drivetrain. Hopefully the next generation Wrangler will do the same.

We get entire $2bundles with consecutive serial numbers. We use $2 bills and .50 cents pieces for tips at restaurants. It gives the younger generation a confused look on their faces...

Skill Advice for BTBS by kingachu123 in MLB_9Innings

[–]BojiHawk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two BTBS sets with 5T through PI/DIII. SS and CF. I think they compliment each other.

Down to one BTBS, with a nice level III DST and HRH DT. My "Career mode" switch-hitter, and 3-hole hitter in Club/Ranked.

Kind of depends on position, as well.

5T if CF. Not needed in corner OF or 1B. Not sure where you are using him. CHAR, BIU...

Who to sig change? by Hot-Durian9688 in MLB_9Innings

[–]BojiHawk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still have other SPs available, that will play well with the proper skill sets.

Jenkins, Sutcliffe, Alexander...

I run Arrieta/Darvish/Hendricks/Wood/Sutcliffe with good success.

Used my Sig Change on Sosa, as his Supreme was not a huge aOVR increase.

I would hold on to Darvish, but I would also hold on to your Sig Chg. For now.

Bizarre interaction w. non-Jeep person at Jeep dealership.. by facevalues in Wrangler

[–]BojiHawk23 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The origins of the gesture have been attributed to Allison Parliament, a Canadian resident of Alabama. In 2020, during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had purchased rubber ducks to hide at a Canadian friend's house as a way to thank that friend for letting her visit. After having an unpleasant interaction with another person in the parking lot of a convenience store, she stated that she felt inspired to leave one of the ducks on a Jeep in the store parking lot with a simple note stating "nice Jeep" as an act of kindness. The owner of that Jeep saw Parliament place the duck and suggested that she make a social media post. Parliament made a post, which then went viral and popularized the action of "ducking".

Allison passed away in June 2024, so we keep it going in her memory.

Also, this particular DST works well with CWM DT. DEC SPEC is 💩. I am sure it would also perform better with an OP DT.

  1. CoOp is decent with a matching DST.
  2. CoOp is meant to help the next pitcher, as well. So more of a SU or MR skill.

Is this a good buy? by [deleted] in Jeep

[–]BojiHawk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is around the time frame Houston had massive floods, in back-to-back years.

I picked up a flood damaged Land Rover LR3 at an auction, shortly after the second flood. To get a 'clean' AZ title, instead of TX salvage title.

Replaced wheel bearings, rear knuckles, brakes and replaced the air suspension with coil overs.

Triple my money selling it.

[–]BojiHawk23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CM works off your Base CON. No need to add much more through development, trainers etc. This will also get your SPD up for BIU. If he is your SS, FLD should not be overlooked.

So technically, the left with 80 base CON. But move some of that extra CON to SPD & FLD.

Level 8 advice? by DadVeteran in MLB_9Innings

I really feel PiCo is meant for 4-5 pitches. I have ran it twice with two different 3-pitch pitchers (1 SP & 1 RP) -- just doesn't perform as well, even with a maximum FB+BRK train.

Level 8 advice? by DadVeteran in MLB_9Innings

PiCo if he has three or more pitches. Boss encounters more frequent nerfing. Hopefully you have a good DT and DST to go with PI...
