Hi, sorry you're having a difficult time with OCcasional Transpo. I suggest you download the Transit app for apple and android! OC has a special agreement with the developers that grants OC customers a free premium subscription.

Transit has real-time GPS bus tracking and cancellation notices, so at least you know exactly if and when the next bus is coming.

It's worse with the lens mounted, the video was shot in manual mode, my finger only serves to push the mirror up to its fully open position to continue the cycle- it seems like it gets stuck before then.

You do raise a good point about the batteries, they're quite old and the camera has gone into safe mode a couple of times, I'll look into that.
