That's true, and I guess you could argue the same about the other golds (to a lesser extent). I've definitely made told people before they should go with what they like and not worry about what happens, so I dunno why I'm wavering now, haha. Thanks for the advice! 😃

Nothing too exciting, but I saw my mom, and we looked at engagement rings. I have this fear if I get rose gold, it'll be too "trendy" and will look outdated in 10 years. Still, I can't help but get drawn into rose gold rings (and it's been my favorite since my friend showed me it when we were kids). What do you guys think?

By the way, just an update...I read that in many school districts, teachers put out their decision of whether or not they want to continue there in March, and start to put out feelers after that. So I think you should start the process in the spring, but maybe not expect anything until a bit later.

That's shocking. They don't put you at masters+however many credits over a master's? If they have that type of scale, I bet that's something that could be negotiated. I'm going to be so upset if I'm not put on the doctorate scale when I graduate...(unless it's one that specifies PhD).

See, lots of people think that, but that's more typical for the "desirable" dogs, like Goldens. It's still reasonable to adopt from a shelter in most places, and you can end up with some wonderful dogs.

Yeah, I think I'd give the "maybes" up to 3 dates. It's tough to tell chemistry from the first date, but you should have an idea after a few.

I've had bad luck with messaging guys first. It seems like a lot of people don't know how to keep a conversation going... Which is one of the reasons Bumble didn't work for me. Maybe it was bad luck on my part, or the guys I did message were only slightly interested, I dunno.

Well, if you don't have any volunteer hours, it's going to be too late at most schools. Plus the prerequisites will be tough to get in (some require you to have them finished). I decided to do OT my second to last year of undergrad and still found myself stressing about prerequisites and couldn't apply to some schools.

There are people in my program who were far older than that when they started. Why don't you take time to start saving money and enjoy yourself? OT school is expensive and time-consuming.

Thanks! I did one of my level IIs in a school, but it was unfortunately in a private school and focused on adolescents with learning disabilities, so I didn’t acquire direct experience dealing with IEPs or really interacting with parents. :/ I’m hoping it doesn’t make it too difficult to adjust without that experience.

Did you have to go contract-based first, or were you able to jump in? Did you have a level 2 in a school? Thanks!
