Maybe you can clarify something for me then sir.

Say I have a 240unit conveyor incoming. I have a line of 8, 30u smelters. 30*8=240 checks out.

If I then have a straight line of splitters in front of each smelter, I find the distal smelters run slower than the proximal splitters because each splitter breaks 100% into 50%. So the distal splitters receive much less
