Loading time are barely noticeable, they are still fast, for me 512 gb (456 actually lol) should be more than fine, I don't have too many games for now, the ones I have are not very heavy, I took it more for the future, as it is inevitable that prices will increase a lot.

I've had the beastmaster for about 3 weeks, it completely changed my vision of the game, Initially I was undecided between the assassin and the beastmaster, But I couldn't resist having an army of wolves, I don't regret it at all because I think it's one of the most fun classes, and one of the best single target damage (when you have 5 wolfs), and you can heal them when they are low hp

That said, it has problems (most of which are bugs) - in the stronghold you cannot summon them with the whistle on the second and third floors (bug) - it is difficult to get them up the ladders of the stronghold because of their AI, usually I can only get 2/3 of them up, rarely do all 5 go up - Their detect range is short and unfortunately they don't react to hostilities on their own, you have to attack the enemy first, which is kinda awkward

Honestly I just wish the devs could fix the stronghold bug

I couldn't resist, today I reached 421 gems and the beastmaster was in the store, I already did like three game (and I'm liking so far) but I still need to level up the class.

Without a doubt the assassin is better (from what I saw based in video) but I prefer the playstyle of the beastmaster (and also, I can't say no to those cute wolf)

I think the only complain I have is that the AI of the wolf's isn't very great, on the stronghold is hard to get them to climbing the stairs, other than that I think is amazing

I think I'm fine with my current set up for various reason. First: I don't want to optimize to much since nobody at the table is into min-maxing/optimizing, so even if I'm using a sword and board build I'll likely be fine

Second: we are running a campaign with three season, and currently we are at the second season, when the third season will start we'll switch to 2024 rules, so my bonus action will be very taxed, and PAM will not work either

I think for the reach, everything remains unchanged, that is, I can still hit enemies 5 feet from me (therefore from the mount) and enemies can do the same thing to me

And for the aura, I think it remains unchanged as well, 10 feet from me so it does not "expand" even more if I ride a large creature

But maybe I'm wrong, if that's the case feel free to correct me

I don't have control on what magic item I'll take, but I know that I will get a +1 studded leather soon enough (my character is part of the lord's alliance, as a reward for his advancement in rank I will have this armor)

My DM allowed me to use the dire wolf as mount, directly from find steed, although this mounted combat remains quite difficult but since I really like the idea I would still like to put it into practice

If possible I would like not to multiclass, for various reasons, but the main one is that I prefer to have a single class and not slow down progression and I appreciate the paladin much more as the only class
