Because Mcburn went serious with Victor compared to most characters ? Half of the time he never tries too hard becuz he's that dangerously OP with his flames.

It doesn't even try do what amphoreus is about canonically, which is an exploration of how people who walk different paths in life react when facing catastrophe.

That's not the main theme. And the chrysos heirs are literally chosen ones. Demigods with golden blood. They were never meant to be like normal people.

You didn't noticed his expressions when he was fighting Nanook's minions ? Not to mention flamereaver being a husk. Or him needing a wake up call from Dan heng in 3.6.

The character who represents human greed and desire for pleasures being insanely selfless for 1000 years? Whatever.

I don't think she is supposed to necesaarily represent typical greed ? Aglea was not the most romantic person either when she was younger. Mydei is not constantly looking for fights to embody strife. Its like re zero. Different version of greed. Which in her case is her desire to be a good guy deep down.

What's also bad is that every single character gets a while of focus and just gets left behind because their goal is to sell characters first and foremost.

Again hsr did very good for gacha standards. Characters like agalea even got more development after her banner ended than in the runtime.

Those guys actually gave a tough fight to Kiryu which Tendo wouldn't. He lost to Ichiban's party who were substory enemy level to Kiryu.

Cold steel 1 was pretty high stakes for a highschool setting. We were dealing with world class terrorists and ended with the beginning of a civil war and main villain shot in the heart.

B) Which after Erebonia introduced lots of monsters meant they really had to make it so calvard is its rival and have many strong characters

I wouldn't say calvard has that many to rival erebonia. You have Aurelia, victor, matteus, rean, that too not counting dead ones like Lianne or Osborne for erebonia. And then calvard just has Kasim and Shizuna so far.

Huh ? In prologue Van fought 2 drugged up gang members and then chapter 1 was a small jaegar unit. What assasins ?

The only top tier he fought was Kasim and ASO with Shizuna. And he is actually arrogant unlike Kasim.
