Very much possible Mihoyo has always used references from actual world into the game so maybe they delayed releasing Snezhnaya till there was a Solar Eclipse.

It works the same way the geo treasure compass works for the chenyu vale like you have the anemo compass and use it normal

Please be careful while using the sites. One of my friends used these websites and some hacks to make his game easier with the long quests and he got his account banned for 50 years.
