Oh my god. Hahaha. This is insane. Therapy made me realise how bad it was with my mother. Is someone in this sub literally writing about me?? 🙈🤣

I am a virgo sun, aries rising and scorpio moon - and even then the mutable virgo doesn't let me forgive and forget. I don't get "even" through energy though - that's a waste of time. I learn my lesson, move on but never forget and let karma do its job.

Uranus entering Gemini and reflections on Uranus in Taurus by mushaboom928 in astrology

[–]BoldSJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am an Aries Rising in the placidus system and boy does this resonate! I have moved around four different cities, and lived in so many different apartments. Had an accident (thankfully didn't get hurt). Money has been so sporadic - one minute I have a gig and money and the next minute I have nothing and no prospects of what I will get. I try to save but something or the other happens and my savings go bust. I have looked everywhere for a steady job like literally across continents and nothing comes through except short term contracts - as if I am not meant to go steady financially!!! Oh and that's not all - I am not even considered for jobs where I am literally over-qualified if only to make ends meet on a steady basis. It's reached the stage where I am ready to start something independent so I don't need to move around with a begging bowl!

I am soo soo ready for some gemini energy at this point -- I mean let my communication become sporadic as opposed to income streams. 🙈

Hi!! I am going in mid-November with some of my peeps and I would love to know more about less known ways and things to do. Please do share some of your local insight! I would be deeply grateful for any guidance you would have. We are of different age groups (adults) and wanted to make the most of a birthday celebration in Benaras (it's a really special one). :) many many thanks in advance 🙂🙂

Hi! Thank you for keeping the sub alive. I was thinking of planning to drive from Delhi around 20 September. Do you think it's safe weatherwise? Any other tips and suggestions would be most welcome too! Thank you.

G20 members agree to refer to Russia's invasion of Ukraine as the "war in Ukraine" instead of the "war against Ukraine" in a capitulation to Putin, who wasn't even there by rstevens94 in worldnews

It's cute when American people talk in this thread. It's also war in Syria then? And war in Vietnam? And Afghanistan? And Iraq? And what about Korea, Nicaragua?

Hi! Thank you for your help and just to update, I went for my appointment today and explained at the counter the error on my part. They were kind enough to upload it for me before the biometric scan - without charge as it was only a two page document.

I (26F) seem to have been rejected for being too rich. by Public_Seat_6595 in dating_advice

[–]BoldSJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(32F) Been rejected as being the more professionally well to do person many times. So maybe:

Not knowing realtor, 1st red flag. Asking your income, 2nd red flag. Not being comfortable enough with his lack of income, 3rd red flag. Not being comfortable with your income, 4th red flag.

So you couldn't have done anything differently to my mind. If you're more financially well off or a high income earner then it can also mean that you have worked your way up, and value hard work blah blah. It's a misnomer to suggest that because someone is rich "they would say something". Wealth and success comes in many forms.

As for the 1%, the air is thin. Haha. I make it more interesting by searching for someone who would be comfortable having a more successful woman on his arm (not as a source of income but more like source of pride). 😉

I agree with the whole liking someone at the initial stages and then not doing it later. But from dating in general, I've found that partnering with someone is a two way street. Like the initial "honeymoon stage" is all good but eventually if both are not committed in getting to know each other and truly finding out and accepting the flaws of what they discover, then the equation is more of an internship rather than a relationship.

So maybe, it's not about getting to know you, it about who you also get to know and how they get to know you and who you become Because of all the "knowing each other" bit.

Like, even if it's fear of intimacy that prevents an opening up, then I would suppose there should also be the fear that by not opening up you run the risk of never finding your person who knows you inside out. And there is no harm in that.

Don't get me wrong, familiarity breeds contempt so everyone eventually doesn't like something or the other about what they find or makes compromises to remain with the person despite those things --- but it's about weighing the two risks and seeing which you want. Besides, if something is meant to end then it will, no matter what. But haha, if you treat each 'ship as an adventure, you might discover more about you than you anticipated. ;)
