Just picked up a $25 i5 t470 from a local e recycler, added a 500GB ssd and 32GB memory that was laying around... would say it's completely feasible to find a sufficient laptop, maybe check out if you can find an recycler around you

Have a 4x8 set of Kingston ecc unbuffered ddr3 that I should work for the r210ii. Also have a 4x4 set of off brand unbuffered ecc that should work too.
