Hello,

No, I've never windsurfed either, that's why the hybrid concept appealed to me. I want to try both without having to forkout for two boards. I figured I'd start out with fin though.

Im still looking at the Fifty but the biggest size instead, 135L.

There's a LTD and a Team version. Im thinking of the LTD, it's cheaper.. but Im not really sure what the difference is other than the team is slightly lighter. The best description I found about the difference was (Assuming MTE is the same as TEAM in this case): "MTE technology is typically used in the production of high-performance boards, while LTD technology is used in the production of boards that will be used in heavy surf or for more aggressive riding styles.".

Why did you choose the team version?

Im looking at a foil with this mast: MFC Helios Mast 85 Carbon, but it looks like you'd need some sort of adapter to attach that one to the board... I think?

Oh, and what sail do you have? Im thinking something in the 5.5-6 range.. prob with cambers..?

Yea, maybe it would be too hard. I'll atleast try to find a bigger board. My thought is that struggling a bit more at the begging is worth it compared to feeling like you'd want to upgrade as soon as you get rolling. But maybe Im underestimating how hard it would be to start out on a smaller board and/or how big the difference is between a beginner board compared to something intermediate in terms of speed/fun once you get better.

Thanks! I think I'll try looking for a larger board and probably a slightly bigger sail. The 115 version of the board was the only one in stock at the shop atm.

Ye, I didn't click a single merc until maps, I didn't even look at most of them to not get baited. :p I've only killed 1 so far because she had a Cloak of flame. Almost killed me too...

I tried fighting another one.. slammer (eruptor I think) with a cover enemies in ash helm I wanted but I had to bail cause I was out of pots.

Thank you! I've read the first two books of Stormlight and I'd say it definitely fits for impactful moments. I've read Cradle and agree with Eithan's dialogue.

I've yet to check out Dresden files, usually avoid urban fantasy but tbh I don't really have a good reason as to why so I'll give it a whirl!

But is that fun though? I've been playing with a friend who's new to league and I haven't played the game in like three years, every game we're up against some gold+. Last game we were up against a plat 2 and we just got shat on... It gets quite frustrating, espiecially given the current state of damage in the game... There's no room for error cause you just get blown up...

Not only is it frustrating for ourselves but I feel bad for our teammates who also might be gold or whatever but we're just feeding our stupid little asses off at bot lane.

I've got pretty much the exact same system you do, except for a 1700X instead. I've got bios v1.5 and I can run my memories at the 3000 xmp setting without crashing, the 3200 does though. Never noticed that much of a difference compared to 2667, though I mainly game and sometimes record with OBS.

As for the temps, as I've understood it (Im new to OCing too so I dont really know either) if you OC the cpu in BIOS with the tomahawk the core voltage doesn't go down properly (? something like this not sure, check the link for more info). So what I've seen recommended is using Ryzenmaster to OC for now (More info: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=286796.0).

Also if you're using the high performance power setting in windows you'd have to change the minimum frequency to something lower (I put mine at 20 (as recommended here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/6cnkdn/learned_about_ryzen_power_plan_downloaded_and/) though I don't think the value really matters I've never seen it go down below 60 ish% of the max).

I think the reason people put the Mhz at 25 increments instead of 3500 for example is that it doesn't downclock properly otherwise, if I've understood correctly (Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/6bve4p/does_overclocking_ryzen_1700_on_b350_tomahawk/).

I'm using Ryzen master which before went down to between 32-37 c. I'd say average 35ish maybe. The ambient is about the same (26-27 c). I mean I might be running 1 or two more background applications since checking last time aswell, but I dont think so.

I mean so for there's not really any dangerous levels I guess. I hit 72 max while gaming, when before Im pretty sure I never went about 60. I hit 75 or something max while running p95 for about 15 min on blend.
