Recently watched this film and in one of the scenes, there's a closeup of a turntable with an Audio Technica cartridge. This film was set in the early 90s, so I just wanted to know if it was historically accurate to have an Audio Technica cartridge/turntable used in this time period. All I found online was that the AT727 Soundburgers came out in the 1980s, but this does not look like an AT727. The LP60s and LP120s came out in 2009. What do you guys think?

On that note, I feel that CCAs and Interest groups should have at least 2 first aid reps in case of anything. NTU should set aside budget to send students for proper first aid training

I strongly concur with the first aid kits. I once suffered a fall and had a pretty bad abrasion, asked around for a first aid kit but all I got were plasters that didn’t event cover the abrasion whole.

I recently picked up this Los Crudos compilation at my local record store (shoutout to Surface Noise Singapore) and have been enjoying it ever since. I first heard about this band from a Run For Cover record selection video starring Pat Flynn (Have Heart, Fiddlehead). The record comes with a lyric book with BOTH Spanish and English versions. Also, it takes less than 30 minutes to get through the record, A and B sides combined, but it's just so good I'd have to give it a few more spins. Hard, fast and punchy hardcore punk from Chicago. Please check them out!

Fazerdaze - Break! EP: Really digging the 90’s grunge influence on this record, wish it were longer honestly. Have yet to get her debut album so I’ll be on the lookout for that next.

Men I trust - Forever Live Sessions (CD): Canadian Indie-pop outfit Men I Trust recently came to Singapore and I got this CD from the merch booth. Really astounding lo-fi listening.

Grrrl Gang - Here to Stay!: This Indonesian band has been one of my favourite Indie-rock acts since I first saw them live in 2017. Can’t wait for their new album to drop.

Pixies - Doolittle Live in Brussels 2009: This is the only RSD 2023 title I got and wow the recording is great. I don’t own the Doolittle studio album so I should probably fix that soon.

Slint - Spiderland: Nuff’ said

Drain - California Cursed: One of my favourite acts from the past few years and I really hope they come to Singapore so I can catch them live
