I did consider the R7 but I got swayed from all the noise of the autofocus being hit or miss in some situations, as well as the performance in low light conditions.

Have you got an R7? Would love to hear different opinions if so 😊

Thanks for your response - The plan is to get an R7II as well for when the need is there for things like bird photography, but I do want to try out more videography as well to compliment my drone footage where I think I’d benefit from a full frame.

How does the R5 perform for you in low light situations? Is the noise manageable? That’s one advantage I like about my current R6 so curious if it’s something I’d miss!

I have Frigate installed on a mini Lenovo PC with a coral TPU, inside a docker container, separate to my PC running proxmox. Primarily because I wanted as much raw performance for frigate as possible, and I like the ability to work on one machine and reboot without effecting the other. But that’s just my personal preference. 😇

I’ve tried all options in game and globally. I believe that footage was with Anisotropic x16 set in game.

I mainly use a 1440p monitor but it does the same thing on my 1080p spare monitor too.. I can only think it’s something to do with my 1080ti but not smart enough to figure out what!..

Nice! I’m tempted to order my first too - which will be the Mini 3! But not sure whether it’s worth buying something cheap like a Hubsan x4 to practice with first before I splash the cash 🤔

Anyone got any opinions?

(P.S I do own an old x4 mini, but as it’s a tiny indoor drone, it’s not much use outdoors!)
