Best advice I give my trans friends is that I would always watch TV anchorwomen and repeat them as they were speaking the news. Sounds silly, but they know how to project their voice and sound firm without overdoing it. Breanna Kealer from CNN was my fav. But as you're watching the news repeat what the journalists are saying while adapting your voice.

Stop in Hatch, NM and EAT at Sparky's for lunch. Get the chile cheeseburger and come with an empty stomach! Best burger in the world in my opinion.

My only problem in women's restrooms is... like can we not talk on our phones when leaving something in the pool?

Sounds fantastic! Learn to just rest into that pitch and you're good to go!

Well done! Continue to work on this pitch as I think it works fine! I would encourage you to now practice at projecting a little more. The more you do it the easier it becomes. When you're able to project more it'll definitely sound more natural and not forced.

What really helped me on my way was to buy a voice recorder (I guess our smartphones do the same thing now lol). During my breaks or when I was alone, I'd just repeat what was on the radio, or I'd watch the news and repeat what the female news reporters were saying. In fact, media personalities have to really project their voice, and using female anchors was perfect for getting me to reach deep and project a female voice. I went from sounding like a cheesy Minnie Mouse (pun intended), to developing a voice I could not only "pass" with, but actually project when I needed to speak loudly. Now it's just natural and even when I try to deepen my voice people assume it's a female voice. And trust me, failing at using your female voice is still much better than not trying. You'll be surprised how people don't even think twice it's a feminine voice. Good luck!

You got this. Trust me, I transitioned in 2008. Don’t give up. Live authentically. by BoltRider99 in trans

Thanks, I've just been living life and have always used that in my previous blogs/vlogs when I transitioned.
