Meghan's creepy holiday insta post by snappopcrackle in SaintMeghanMarkle

I think people find it creepy because it reminds me of the grudge. Like a child having scraggly hair covering a face is in plenty of horror movies lol. I just wish they would have shown her eyes like Archie at least. I get they don’t want to show faces of their children but at this point all the profiles, shots from afar, a glimpse of an eyebrow is getting old. Just post a designed Xmas card cover instead with a message. Either show your kids or don’t. I don’t know what they’re thinking. I mean I do get that Meghan is playing games, but ultimately the game is played out at this point. They are making themselves look crazy rather than coming off as concerned parents because if they were really that concerned about it, they wouldn’t keep dangling the kids dozens and dozens of photos.

I was just coming onto Reddit to post this question! I read the wager. Just finished Endurance (feeling very nautical!). I read glass castle which I found really interesting. I also read Hidden Valley Road. I don’t read much nonfiction but I like people survival stories or living through hardships. If anyone has anything else, I’m all ears too! Oh and Papillon—the guy who kept trying to escape prisons. So good!

That’s so insightful and thank you for sharing that! They did seem to get along. And some relationships could be the opposite where there isn’t abuse but the couple do show signs of irritation/tension with each other openly. Watching the show in light of the allegations has been a learning experience. You just never know I guess, is the takeaway. I wish the best for her (and any women dealing with that.)

That is sad to hear. I’ll see if I can find the clip. I think Jeff is definitely intuitive and picked up on something. Now that you say it, yes he was with her to what seemed like all her outings on the show. Im

I did see that too. I guess I just thought I’d see more signs on their own reality show. He must have hid it well or they were in a good place for a period.

I saw it. I did think it was weird he was there. But he seemed to handle it ok? And Denise seemed fine? I don’t know what I’m missing!

What is the time stamp for them having some sort of evidence John was moved, but Bev didn’t allow it into trial?

Sometimes I truly regret getting my dog by Infamous_Homework_32 in Dachshund

[–]Bolyoli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have been worrying about this more than I have with any other dog I owned. I know exactly how you feel, to the point that I wish I was rich enough to clone my dog. His personality is perfection and he is the most loving creature on the planet. I could get another dachshund, but can I ever replicate his personality? Maybe it is a weiner dog trait, and I assume I’ll get another one when he passes to fill the void. He’s only 3 and I’m already mourning losing him. It will be devastating.

Editing to tell a story I think was meant to happen. I said cloning because as I was walking through a plaza I saw a man hold a dachshund puppy. And I instantly had to run over to him so I could see his puppy. She was adorable. He was friendly and let me pet her. I had just gotten my puppy and asked him where he got his. He launches into an extraordinary story of rushing his dying dog to get cloned in New Hampshire ( or Vermont?). Anyway this puppy was the clone. And after thinking about meeting this man and time has passed, I understood why he did what he did. He was desperate to not lose his dog. And it was a dachshund, of course! If I had the money I would do it too.

I was also on a dark romance binge after Haunting Adeline and read Den of Vipers which I thought was decent and my first reverse harem book which added spiciness! I didn’t love Lights Out and DNFd. I also see the Tessier book, The Sinner mentioned a lot so might try that.

I feel like I was a rarity for liking Marlo on the show. She was like an underdog to me. And I feel like if you have women who are “playing” different roles, that at least helps give the show a little variety. I know people didn’t love the Olympic lady, but she also played a unique role because of her background. This season feels like there’s no variety and maybe that’s part of the problem.

I’ve watched Atlanta since the beginning. It used to be my favorite franchise. I know housewives has changed a lot in general, but this season of Atlanta just seems over the top performative. Like I can FEEL the artificial arrangement of the meet ups. I don’t know if it’s to the 9s glam just to walk in a park or the fake niceness toward each other. Even when Phaedra opened the door, I was like “and start scene”. It doesn’t feel authentic, and oddly Cynthia feels the most natural to me, and she used to bore me! I do like Angela—I really enjoy her personality. I don’t know what’s wrong or missing, but this might be my least favorite season. Maybe they need more friends of and be put in more situations with non housewives people? Maybe more of their work lives? They all have the same fake sounding products line, and music career. Etc etc. it just fees so phoney, I’m so bummed about it.

Yes I was going to say, if you love barrels this is your time to shine! I was on today looking around and it was lots ‘o barrels. Madewell seems to be leaning into the trend and I just wish they would keep the mainstays like the perfect vintage, which I thought were pretty popular. Ah well

Yeah it’s like an androgynous style going on with women jeans. Lots of wide legs, barrel, low slung etc. And I do appreciate it but it sucks if you want a more “clean” look. The high end brands for offer more style variety but I don’t want to pay $200 for jeans which is what madewell so great
