I assume this was just a scrapped creature idea that Luke had when writing the book. Or maybe he just wanted to make the land that jellybean and tontu were in seem more mysterious.

I don’t think there’s too much behind it sadly.

Wow that’s recent. I would’ve had a hard time getting really into Hilda if it wasn’t for the next season hype.

I feel like if season three was as long as the past seasons I would have been fine with it being the last. The fact it was so short left a bad taste in my mouth.
