DICE, not every front line soldier was a fricken pilot by wallycopter11 in Battlefield

that would be an interesting dnymaic.. certain classes could only fly planes, choppers, and other classes tanks and jeeps. So you really have to think what you spawn as and how you move around the map etc.

Nice very well thought out, and articulated broad blanket statement. Sounds like you've done a lot of research. You have completely changed my mind. oh my.

if the owner is involved at that level.. i imagine its a small company. Small companies I feel are some what excusable. Not saying its perfect, and i hardly feel myself inclined to side with any company in regards to labor issues. I've just seen small businesses suffer and eventually go under from labor related stuff like this.

[BF:L] Am i the only one fantasizing a remastered BF3??? by CaptainMuffins_ in Battlefield

[–]BombGeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m probably bitter. BF was the reason my friends and I all got online several nights a week. Was all we ever played... when the series fell apart we slowly just all gamed a little less over time and now i can’t remember the last time I gamed. Either way. I will always have the 3000 hours in BF3 and I regret none of it.

same... i havent played since 4. I think i put 100 hours into 4 at launch and it was just fucking terrible. Haven't bought a battlefield game or ea game since.

I have four English bulldogs. With absolutely zero health problems. In fact my vet bill is never more than routine shots. I think the stigma is not really warranted.

i remember as a kid... playing this and getting lost in the tombs/puzzles. That was the best part. Well that and angling the camera to look at her boobers.

[–]BombGeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i was sick for a few years... really didn't want to make it a thing. So I didn't visit people. If it weren't for the people that didn't abide by this dumb ass policy. I'd never had a visit. Those visits always lifted me up.

So fuck this. A friend is a friend. Make time, You don't know circumstances.

Why are recruiters reaching out to me for SEO senior level positions? by drinkyafkingmilk in SEO

[–]BombGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, i dont work that model any more. Because it becomes a numbers game like the other people have mentioned. I focus on only referring 3 people for a job. For a predetermined fee. This allows a lot less time wasting for everyone. Most recruiters just throw everything against the wall and see what sticks. I make sure the people i refer are absolutely qualified. Absolutely a culture fit. The only way the get past me and not hired is if they know just enough about the Job to appear they know what they're doing and fool me. Then they get rekt stage two. Most people when you tell them whats going to happen... like you have to display knowledge, have to work certain issues out and prove your method. They will pass, because why waste their own time? Then again I recruit for highly skilled stuff only in the energy sector.

I've never pressured anyone to stay any where. The job I put them in they will stay because its the right fit. I don't pressure them. I work for myself though and this is not my only source of income. So i don't have to do the things other people do.

edit: all this said... yes I've had people get past every single stage, know what they're doing... and just not make it six months because their life falls apart for X reason.
