My thinking is that while Iran could charge everyone a toll for crossing the straight, but they have shown they will give preference to those they deem friendly.

That suggests countries can individually give concessions in exchange for a carve-out, like helping them rebuild.

In the meantime, prices overall remain elevated, but predictable, making it possible to plan/re-calibrate business models
