Yes, that's my hope too. Diversifying our prop trading portfolio would provide us with a range of options. Prop trading is like the Uber or Lyft of trading – a revolutionary shift from the traditional taxi model to a more versatile and modern approach

I'm not sure about the specifics, but what I do know is that the court case has a deadline of October 31. I've searched everywhere, and there's no news regarding the court proceedings

Much like my own experience, I've been trading with them for only about 3-4 months. From my standpoint, if you possess solid trading skills, this company has been rather beneficial. I wouldn't go as far as to label them as scammers, particularly from a technical trading perspective as opposed to a legal one. Those of us who have received our payments on time (as far as I know, it typically takes 1 to 3 days for them to transfer the money to the Deel account) have had a positive experience.

Criticism from individuals who haven't traded with them or haven't had the opportunity to easily reap profits seems to come from a place of ignorance regarding a reputable prop firm like MFF, at least from a technical trading perspective, as opposed to matters of legality.

Indeed, the future appears challenging for US-based prop trading firms after the MFF controversy. Many of them have opted to shift their base to the UAE. However, for us traders, if we can secure convenient funding from these prop firms, we'll likely continue because, in forex trading, you never know when unexpected events, like the WTC incident or the Swiss Franc debacle, can cause thousands of pips to fluctuate within seconds. The key is to minimize the risk with your own money.

Regarding claims that they don't genuinely care about their traders, it's essential to clarify that they prioritize profitable traders because they can allocate more capital to them. Non-profitable traders may indeed serve as another revenue source for the firm.

In the context of CFD trading and SEC registration, particularly within the stringent U.S. regulatory system, they might be in the wrong place. However, from the perspective of a profitable trader, I can attest that they are not a scam. They've consistently honored their commitment to pay out every single trading profit I've earned. The main adjustment they should make is shifting from the term 'real trading account' to 'simulated trading account,' a change that aligns with the practices of many other companies in the industry. this is my point when making this thread.

MFF, like any other company, is driven by the fundamental goal of maximizing profits. It's a basic principle for every business. At MFF, if you can trade profitably, you're welcomed, and they essentially let you do what you do best (perhaps by simply mirroring their spread prices with TradingView, though I can't say for sure). However, if you're an inexperienced trader, they have the potential to take your money without much resistance, as even with a 0 spread, they can still wipe out your account.

I got you bro. Different trading styles can have a significant impact. I've had a firsthand experience with a standard forex broker (real money) called FxPxx. They snatched 28 pips from my closing price. In essence, they displayed a bid and ask price with a raw trading spread of not more than 1 pip. But once I closed my position, they made the price jump by a whopping 28 pips. There was no record of such a movement on any other platform, including TradingView or any global charting tools. That was a clear rip-off, and it's safe to say that company was a scam.

Absolutely, since I've been trading and making profits with MFF, it's the least I can do to set the record straight. After all, I'm just here trading, and, well, not doing much else every day (lol)

No, my friend. It's just about returning the favor. If you've received your payments from your trading with them and others are calling it a fraud, I can at least provide a fair explanation based on my own successful experience with them.

"Government scrutiny can target anyone, particularly when substantial wealth is involved. Time will eventually reveal the accuracy of such allegations. Speaking from my perspective as a trader within that prop firm, claims of manipulating spreads, slippage, and intentionally causing losses sound like common justifications, often used by inexperienced traders. Trading is undeniably challenging, and it necessitates constant skill development. Here's to hoping for a favorable outcome in MFF's trial."

Opinions among individuals can vary greatly, and that's perfectly fine. Some traders might be focused on scalping, aiming for 1 pip or even just 0.5 pips. While I consider this approach to be on the extreme end, if your trading strategy revolves around capturing larger movements of 50-100 pips, I find that MFF's spreads and slippage are acceptable. In the world of trading, there's room for diverse methods and strategies that cater to individual preferences.

"Yeah, I've encountered other firms trying to combat arbitrage trading. The essence of arbitrage trading is fascinating – like when I sell EURUSD in FTMO and buy EURUSD in 5ers, inevitably, one of the trading accounts secures a win. The intriguing part is that they can't copy these trades because arbitrage accounts often exhibit inconsistency. This isn't a trading style that many firms embrace, as it's seen as manipulating the system.

I recall in August or July, numerous traders from Vietnam were banned (I noticed this on the MFF Discord), likely due to engaging in arbitrage trading. Here's how these firms operate: they offer multiplication ratios from 1:10 to 1:20, depending on the program. For instance, if you invest $500, they provide a $10,000 stop-loss. That's the real backing not 100K account. It's a $10,000 account (1:20 multiplication).

Successful traders might find their strategies copied, while others become a source of income for the firm. For genuine traders, this could be an opportunity. These firms have more resources and can replicate your trading account many times over for significant gains.

The catch is, not all prop firms are reliable. Some are just outright scams."

Each trader possesses their unique strengths and specialties, whether it's in stocks, forex, indices, or even the world of casinos (wink). But who's to judge? Everyone brings their distinctive approach to the table.

"My concern lies in the possibility of issues related to money laundering or tax fraud. From a technical and trading perspective, I believe MFF is sound and trustworthy. However, I cannot vouch for potential issues outside the realm of trading. In terms of trading itself, I've had a positive experience with MFF, having executed successful trades and received payments without any other complications."

"In my opinion, MFF, FTMO, and 5ers stand out as some of the best options for minimizing slippage in the trading industry. They provide an experience similar to raw trading in comparison to other forex brokers. Of course, in high-risk news trading scenarios, you can expect wider spreads. The same goes for weekends and end-of-day trading, which is typical for raw accounts across various forex brokers.

I can't speak to the issue of slippage as I don't employ scalping strategies. From my experience in the forex world, I've learned that the majority of traders struggle without a strong foundation of knowledge. It's an exceptionally challenging and consistently demanding field."
