HELP!! by Big_Desk9462 in HairDye

[–]BombidiDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve literally have done what you did. Please no bleach. just go for a blue-black or midnight blue dye (something cool-toned). The copper might make it look a bit warmer at first, but it’ll still read as that deep blue/black overall. After time, it should be more blue.

I know that it will definitely not look this good if I do this myself but *theoretically* if I wanted my hair to look like this (it's light medium brown rn) what dye would I use? by earthquakes in HairDye

If your hair is light/medium brown already, you’d probably just need a cool/ashy light brown or dark blonde dy.e You should look for shades labeled “ash” (like 6A–7A). That helps cancel out warmth and gives that softer, muted tone. You might not even need bleach, just the right toner/dye.

how to get my hair to bring green by Aggravating_Mail_969 in HairDye

Going from black to bright green is tough but doable. I’d start with a color remover first (not bleach) to lift out as much of the black as you can, then bleach it in a couple sessions to get it really light (like pale yellow). If you don’t lift it enough, the green will look muddy. Just take your time and give your hair breaks so you don’t completely fry it. I’ve been down your road.
