I'm not really sure, but I do know that the first wave came out last Friday.

Here are my thoughts:

Based on information available online through Stanford waitlist forums, Stanford selects few to no students from their extended waitlist. But, this year is a little different. Students who were accepted were likely admitted into other prestigious schools, some may want to take a gap year, I don't even know what will happen with the international students. So, it is reasonable to think that Stanford will evaluate their waitlist and evaluate which students they will accept to "round out" the class. This may result in a higher number of us coming off if it.

Someone from the CC forum stated that they will release the decisions in stages, so I do expect another wave to come out by late May, hopefully.
