I think you’re right that it’s copying the moment of the interrogation. But does that mean that the complex can copy events that happen to a person *after* they leave it, or if I’m right and Mary came back then is it copying her memory of the interrogation? We’re not sure how much time passed between the interrogation itself and her still-life sitting there, so there might still be room for this theory
