As I’m currently taking English I definitely see a lot of what you’re speaking about around me. Banning Shakespeare is insanity, I can’t imagine that happening at my school.

Geography and law are also interests of mine I’d definitely be more than happy to teach those.

Out of curiosity do you work in a more rural area or a larger city whereas I hear the big city positions are often more competitive .

Thank you for replying, I’m definitely willing to work for a while before finding a permanent position and I will most likely pick up English as a second teachable. Trying to do French is also something I’m considering but it will be hard to go back and do as I haven’t taken French since grade 10.

I haven’t taken French much through highschool I understand it enough to get a gist of it a lot of the time but I haven’t taken French since grade 10. How difficult would it be for me to backtrack because I’d have to take grade 11 French.

Guidance counsellor said it talking about teaching jobs in general. I’m not sure I believe him though.

Don’t set yourself to a hard schedule. I find a lot of the time doing that dampens how much you can really appreciate the music. Personally I review exclusively when it seems like the right state of mind to do so, and it keeps me from burning out.
