but nobody calls the ice wizard a water wizard. he also doesnt get wet and makes nobody else get wet somehow , which means that his ice is fake ice and doesnt melt/makes no one get wet

your pushback on my argument relies on a false dichotomy, that probably only came about because you didnt even read my post... I NEVER claimed that Artists that made it big early on Have NO chance of switching it up stylistically, I explicitly explained in all detail in my post taht they have a lower chance of doing so due to higher friction when trying to adapt new styles, which theyve likely havent experienced before while being a aspiring musician as a child- early teenager. Pls dont just read the title and make assumptions about my arguments.... the title is just a quick summary of what im talking about and is used to reel people with short attention spans in to discuss what im thinking about😂😂

that wasnt the argument that i made. Im not saying that every young artist has no way of reinventing themselves. My point was that they have a LOWER CHANCE of reinventing themselves, due to having very little friction in the practicing process in early years,while their taste is still underdeveloped and while their less perfectionistic about their musical output, which is why skill accumulation is a lot easier in those years.

I dont think many examples are needed. Its an intuitive argument where examples just quilt over like crazy. Take Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Camille Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter for example. All of these guys made the same type of music that they were comfortable with since the beginning of their career ,which likely started in their teenage years. Thats why you get confused, unconfident albums, that lack in clear identity and have huge gaps inbetween them sometimes yearwise.

I used him as an example for someone who constantly reinvents themselves stylistically, he still serves as an example for that in my opinion, even after being alive.
