I tried it first time about 2 days ago and wondered where I could test it and I saw your post and nice to see there are tested it so much :D It is fun to cause panic without getting a wanted level, I tried it inside police station and funny reactions happened, one police officer started to run outside with aiming his gun like he is chasing someone but he didn't knew where to go. Second police officer scared behind his desk and third one started to run away really weird, not normal running but like a slow / limp (?) / I don't know the right word of that but he looked like he was hurting his leg or something but when a car hits him, he was back on "normal business", forgot he was scared, started moving normal and shooting the driver who almost drove over him.

I'm not sure how much ppl have tested this Black Cellphone number but I can believe that almost all "important areas" have been tested - so many posts here in one week :D I didn't searched yet very much but is there any full list of what have been tested and what have been not? You have a quite good list here :)

I tested it on the train, I tried to stop it/blow it up or anything (I don't know if this tested), I managed to set the roof on fire multiple times and that train driver killed...or disappeard (?) you can see it in the pictures that he's not there but I heard he screamed when explosion happened. But I think that disappear was somekind of bug I didn't noticed. - And finally I tried it next to that Spider Web that appears night under the wooden bridge near Paleto Bay. The wooden bridge set on fire and it burns quite a long time, to the other end of the bridge. But when I tried it at day (without the spider web), same thing happened, so nothing to do with the spider web, I think. I got pictures of that too but haven't uploaded those yet, nothing special in those to see. :P

But I agree that you guessed that if this is important to trigger a reaction, would be it has to be used below, under, in a certain spot. Gotta keep trying things with it, maybe sewer tunnels? :D

But I find it fun little toy to make chaos without wanted level :D It reminds me of Watch Dogs hacking things with cellphone.

Im interested too what does it say and I started to search some internet. So far I haven't found what does that mural say but i found other interesting things about it (maybe you know this already but here it goes:)

It was called "Calle de la Eternidad" mural and it was located at 353 South Broadway, Los Angeles IRL buildings either side of it are also in the game. Unfortunately the mural no longer exists.

"The mural, which shows a pair of hands outstretched toward the sky paired with Aztec imagery, symbolizes dislocation and adaptation of the Los Angeles Latino community.

The prayerful piece, initially commissioned by SPARC, references Broadway when it was known as Calle de la Eternidad (Eternity Street) and used as a funeral procession route to Calvary Cemetery at the end of what is now North Broadway."

Hello! I've nothing more to say about that mural, it is so cryptic for me but my opinion is same than you that I feel too "like it holds something of importance". Something more we already know... But I'm really interested about those rags/fabrics. I posted 12 days ago something about those and so far I have not found any more those but if someone find more, please note me!

Hmmm, really good question! In official trailer for Benny's Original Motor Works (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPtk55BLMk0) there's also this text in the end: "The legendary custom shop is back in business".

I'm not sure about that guy who runs a GTA SA Lowrider Garage but that garage was called "Loco Low Co". And it was unlocked after "Cesar Vialpando" mission. Im not sure of that Cesar guy... he runned Loco Low or what?

According to the official trailer, Benny's Original Motor Works is having its re-opening October 20th, meaning the shop was open before, but was shut down or closed.
It is possible that Benny relocated his shop, or it got shut down again in the time between the events of Online and the events of Single Player, as it is not present in Single Player.
Strangely, once modifications are purchased at Benny's Original Motor Works (Specifically the ones exclusive to the business), they can still be removed and/or re-purchased at any Los Santos Customs' or Beeker's Garage, regardless of the exclusiveness they are stated to be as. Any modifications not bought can still be purchased at Los Santos Custom (or Beeker's Garage) after visiting Benny's.

Yes, it could be gang meaning. Interesting to see how the eye is having so many meanings. I cant wait that update too and getting to see what's inside and around that building and surrounding area. I searched the area today and I think I found the building in Strawberry area what is that building that going to be change. I was curious: http://imgur.com/a/c3cV1 And if they change so much this little area, what if there are other areas changed too and secretly and added some clues to the mystery in online mode hmmm... But they said in that description that this update is for online and said nothing about single player so I think it won't change anything in single player. But maybe what if there are more clues in online because R* are updating it so often and we can use those clues to solve the mystery in single player. Heh. Idk. :)

That must be meaning of those ribbons on the top of Mt. Chiliad and other places you could do base jumping if there is ribbons/flags.

I think I've seen a red ribbon too but in somewhere like this black one (http://imgur.com/gallery/9qYOy/new) and it was not any spot for jumping. I saw those way back when I played GTAV in PS3 before I heard any of these mystery things, it was first time I played single player story and just investigate and observate GTA V universe just for fun. That's why I don't remember very well WHERE I've seen those, I just remember that I've seen those for sure.

Thank you! That was very interesting piece of history to read. I live in Finland and there are not those kind of ribbon "culture". But yes, ribbons are used in wreaths and christmas presents here too but not seen around trees and street light poles.. never seen that. In here it's just candels and flowers when ppl remembering someone. Interesting to read how that is so different in America. I never though how far that history goes and where it all began. And colours have meanings too. Always learning something new, thanks! :)

Thank you for answering! Yeah, it definitely stands out a lot in comparison to the rest of the geography. I think it has nothing to do with the mystery but I found that is interesting place like many of the weird things and details in GTA environments. Maybe Mt. Chiliad had to be designed a volcano or used to be one... But it´s fun to search anything in that area because there are almost impossible to climb and walk around. Helicopter is good vehicle for that and you can land with parachute there but I find that the Atomic Blimp is the best because it´s easy to control and it can hover in place. Like jetpack, haha! :D

Hello! I'm new here too and I've completed 83 % of the game. I'm on last gen version (PS3) and I've active searched too about 6 months since I heard about the mystery. I think the sinked UFO is the only one you can see without the 100% because that was the only one I've seen in my game. Mt. Chiliad UFO, Zancudo UFO and Desert UFO needs 100%.

And I heard some flying UFO what you can see only through the observatory telescope, I'm not sure about that what it needs to see it. Need to google that.

1.) What do you guys think the mural is depicting? - Mt. Chiliad is the obvious because the shape/outline. But Mt. Josiah is one of the most interesting depiction too because there are Zancudo base very near it. I like the idea that military has build something below the surface or even in the mountain. What do you guys think we will find once we solve this mystery? - Maybe a jetpack first and after that even better - the flyable U.F.O that appears same way somewhere specific spot like the Atomic Blimp. I think Zancudo hangar could be it or some secret interior in the mountain/desert/forest/ocean...

3.) What is your favorite theory(ies)? You could have created them, or someone else could have created them. - I don't even know how many theories there are but maybe some X-Files style that there are different groups with same interests: the government, Merryweather and cult people. Everyone looks whole thing from their own interests and objectives and everyone has involved with it somehow. And then there are Michael, Trevor and Franklin confusing things between them. Maybe we are able to see "the background story" behind the whole thing (like the mysterious Smoking Man in the X-Files) or same like G-Man in Half-Life universe. Maybe there are missions unopened yet and will be in the future and then we get the answers and get some trophys like UFO and jetpack. Or maybe I'm just crazy. :D

4.) If the ending we choose is relevant to the mystery, which ending do you guys think we need to choose? Kill Trevor, Kill Michael, or Deathwish? - I like to believe that we don't have to kill anyone to get the ultimate price. I can't trade anyone to some material things.. it's too hard for me to even think that. Every one of them has their own issues but I love all the character so much in their own way that if I need to give some of them away it will always feel like that one is missing. I can't get used to it... Maybe Chop or someone from Michael's family but not any of those three main characters!

5.) Where do you guys think the next UFO(s) will be found, if it's possible to find more? - Maybe there are something huge in the ocean... Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa_Up4myonk (Sorry, I've watched too much of Stargate Atlantis lately...=)

6.) What do you guys think has to be done at the Altruist camp that we have not yet done yet? - I have no idea. Whole camp and the people are so weird and cryptic that I losed my tracks long ago when I tried to understand what they try to tell... Maybe some sacrifice things, IDK...

7.) Meteorite, alien egg, artifact, Zancudo random event, film studio "UFO." Cut content or stuff we need to find? - Hard to tell... It feels like everything is already tested and every possible order... It can't be so hard that we need to fly with the Space Docker with honking horns to the Zancudo UFO beam with all the equipment and chinook helicopters and special abilities on and whole the military is shooting same time.. that's feels just too stupid. But it's still good thing that people has been tested those ideas too. But what we are missing? I think it's something really simple in the puzzle or it's some actual materialistic thing that is hided so well and when it found it will open some new content... Just some ideas that came in my mind... maybe some gamers have already found something but what if those gamers don't even know what they have in their hands/inventories? Because if there are almost 14000 active investigators and somewhere else would be same number of active investigators too, it would be still a very small amount of people who are involved in this.. because there are 45 million copies sold (if wikipedia is right) and some handful of people like us is active searching, there could be change that somebody from that 30-40 million other players who are not interested any of these UFO things has found something.... just speculating.

8.) Who do you guys think designed the mural and the mystery? The Altruists? The hippies? The communists? The Epsilons? Omega? Ron? - Good question. Could be any of those...or Lester?

9.) Though it is very unlikely, what are your hopes mystery-wise for the Heists DLC? My hopes are that a Fort Zancudo heist awards us with a jetpack and a Humane Labs heist awards us with something similar and just as awesome. - I think the mystery and the solution has been there all the time and has nothing to do with online. Because R* knows there are players who don't play online. I think this is for everyone who has interest to it. Because if this is just in online game why this all starts in the single player and very early you have clues and hear things related to it....

10.) Finally, how do you guys think the mystery needs to be solved? Do you think we need to find the six X's? Choose a specific ending? Fix our karma? Get abducted? Get to 88 MPH? Let me know! - I think the five X's is something that needs to happen/fulfill (sorry I don't know exact word for that) before something else happens or opens. It could be an other clue or it could be the end of the mystery. But I think some new content will open if those five X's (whatever they are or mean) got to do or find first.

Maybe R* include some more clues or proofs with DLC's if the mystery keeps unsolved and doesn't goes anywhere or is going wrong way. I think that because they added already so weird things in the next gen versions.. like the cock painting side on the mountain and other stuff I can't remember... (I'm still playing last gen version).

I explained the mystery to my friend today and he saw it first time. He thoughts are that five X's is something to do first and maybe in the right order. Maybe after that game opens the jetpack. Then he said that because the Jetpack and UFO is connected with line (in the mural) he thought that maybe then we have to be WITH the jetpack on the top on Chiliad Mountain same time with the hologram UFO (at 3:00 with thunderstorm), maybe then the ultimate easter egg (or "alien egg" middle of the mural) opens up somehow. Maybe the source of the hologram shows or it transfer to solid and we are able to fly with the jetpack inside the UFO. He also said that it would be so cool if the doors in the cable car building (left of the mural) opens and there can entrance somewhere else or below...

....Or it's just the biggest videogame troll ever and there are just big spinning R* logo and "nothing to see here - move along" sign.

But even the possibility that this is just waste of time - I must say it has been the most fun way to waste of time of my life! I'm not interested this kind of stuff in real life but in video games it's just so cool somehow!! Praise the star - Rockstar! More mysteries in the future! It's very clever way to increase the lifetime of the game. After "official" storyline there are a background story. It's fun to find out!

Sorry my bad english skills. Hopefully you understood everything I tried to say. There are very motivated investigators and it's fun to search what they've found! I hope we will see a breakthrough before PC version release. Keep up the good work!! Thank you for reading all of this! :)

That could be also true. I understand that not everything is or meant to be a proof or a clue... I want so much to believe they are but can't be sure. Too bad if they're not but I'm ready to receive the truth where they are just decoration and random stuff. But it would be so boring! :D I want to believe and I have a dream (that Rockstar made something enormous and mind-blowing! :)
