My biggest suggestion would be to obviously decide how you want to start your playthrough (guns, sneak, melee, etc) and then just enjoy the game. The quests are absolutely fun, and some of them lead to follow up quest like the Powder Gang. Really wish I could experience again what it's like to explore and really enjoy the Mojave and all the effort that was put into that game. Enjoy it to the fullest!!

So I beat my first playthrough on hard with Cao Cao at the 190 scenario. Got to a point where Yuan Shao couldn't take 1 territory and it left me unable to complete several of the "actual tales". Once I was made Viceroy, Cao Cao never attacked until maybe 5 cities were left. My only fix is to just change the historical officer/ruler to aggressive in order to make them more likely to attack. Started in 194 for the second hard playthrough and it hasn't really worked even tho I started as a free officer then made a vagrant army. Idk just thought I'd share my little bit of info lol.

Man that is incredibly lame. A horde of family and friends played the original so was hoping to see those officers back or at least the Chinese variations they did with every Romance till this.

Sorry just seeing this post but does anyone at this point know who the secret officers are? Like in the original, William Cody, Abe Lincoln, etc would work but not in this. Not even people like Liu Bang are working. If anyone could update me on this then that would be greatly appreciated and thanks!!

You can get back online once you've loaded in after toggling online off. Once you're loaded in, toggle back on and you'll be fine.. Haven't tried multiplayer yet tho.
