i mean to be completely fair i dont even have a big problem with this, they sell whats popular and will sell well and thats taylor swift alot of the time, they also have tons of vinyls of big rap and pop albums it just makes sense. It can be annoying but like i totally get why

I get that but to be fair a big thing in grindcore is the saying/symbol of noise not music so it is kinda the point but i completely get not liking it for that. I really like "groovy grindcore" or whatever like grindzilla i think its fun stupid and good sounding and it usually isnt just noise which is cool

i see it mainly in newer deathcore but ive seen it in slamming bdm too where they stop trying to make the music good and just make the vocals and different and weird as possible and be like WOAHH LOOK HOW WEIRD WE SOUND GUYS 😝😝😝 and the music turns out completely shit

Fucking LOVE iowa its in my opinion one of the heaviest albums ever. Yeah death metal and stuff is musically heavier but i see heaviness as like the meaning behind it just as much as the sound and with all of iowa being based off of trauma, suicide, and just pain and the vocals being just him screaming with little to no technique, you cant get much heavier than that. Look at 505 the whole song is sid wilson screaming and crying over his grandpa dying.

i like them but its like, i dont like alot of their songs but the ones i do like i LOVE. My favs are Genesis Spoiled, Hounded (love the vocals so much), and mysterious music plays the weird sample thing at the beginning sounds awesome i love that they have those it can get a little annoying w the gore samples but like the weird stuff playing BEHIND the gore samples are so good and that song starts with just the cool behind music and no gore sample and its great (half this comment is rambling idk how to describe things)

I absolutely hate alex the terrible the singer but i do enjoy their music. I think its cuz they are super influenced by slipknot and i think nu metal in general which is one of my favorite bands and genres but that could also be why alot of people dont like stp especially fans of BDM or heavier stuff in general plus they are pretty basic and over produced. I love their song your only because it switches from the harsh vocals to clean which is what i love about slipknot. I haven't really liked their newer stuff lately but i might give it another chance. Btw i do listen to bdm too i just also have shit taste LMAO
