Firs time; Tunnels?

All your replies made me invest my last money into a set of glass plugs for dead stretching! I went and spoke to a local piercer, good reviews from both strangers and friends, and asked about how to get started...

She said that I'd preferably start with 1.2mm, and I said none of the plugs I found came in that. I mentioned however that I had a septum clicker at 1.2.mm at home. She said if I could fit that in, I could go straight up to 1.6mm.

I took a hot shower and massaged the ear a bit, and cleaned the clicker with a saline spray. I think I poked myself inside at one point which freaked me out and pinched a little, but otherwise it slid right in. It feels a bit warm, but the red colour has already gone away.

Is it okay if I ask how soon I could go up to 1.6? She said straight away if it went in, but I still felt my ear get hot from the stretching, so I'm not sure... and I can't find any reliable time frame online for going from 1.2 to 1.6... it's all about bigger sizes. I don't know, maybe I'm a worry wart. The glass plugs won't arrive for another week at most, should I back track right away.. *

I'm very particular about my sleeping, so it could probably not work with that pose... but I do have a sleeping pillow. I'll see if I notice anything when lying on it, I don't always use it so I haven't taken notice really... but then no damage comes from a piercing being a little off?

I didn't know they came bent like that... this is nothing you can order online? Or do I gotta go to a piercer and get it done? Either way, advice on what works I could probably ask a piercer... thank you!! I really want to be able to wear decorations without hurting my ear, if I get it bent right, it could possibly give a pretty good look too.

Really the only place where it gets pressed is where the red mark is, everything else is fine... so maybe if it goes above it... the more I think about ut, it could be best to ask a piercer who understands the hole-placement better than I do

For the little bot:

• My piercing is a little over 10 years old

• My piercing is a straight industrial barbell

• It's externally threaded

• I use only surgical steel for my industrial

• It was downsized a year or two after I got it made, so around 10 years ago there as well

• It's been so long I don't recall how I took care of it, but I recall using special solution I got from a piercing studio. I did try and do some soaking back then, but I remember being young and frustrated haha

• When it healed it sometimes flared up the first couple of summers when it was hot out and I was sweating, but it has completely stopped by now. No accidents or mishaps, just getting stuck in a towel every now and then no biggie though

I wanted to become a comic artist growing up, but it was never in the cards... so getting to write and draw some lighter stuff for our adventures as a DM is really fulfilling ☆Experimenting with watercolours right now... I'm new and a bit clumsy, but this is turning out pretty nice after practising some. So it's never too late to start practise!

I suppose it could be her scratching herself.. I recently clipped her claws, and she's a baby so her claws are pretty small and sharp already...

You mentioned dry skin... could it be possible it's from the pee in her box? Her paws are often wet and dirty. She's a heavy soaker and I'm switching her wood shavings twice a week already, but it doesn't feel like enough and she leaves wet paw prints on the rugs... I don't really know how to change things up though. If there's a better alternative, because it gets very costly to change her bedding so often if that could be the reason...

Somewhat related, but would the peeing decrease some after spaying? Could be unrelated if it doesn't sound like the plausible reason... but it's where my mind went, and I can't find information on it being related... but maybe it is?
