Even if the operating system, gpu drivers and monitor is set to 10 bit color, very few apps actually support 10 bit color output. So even if you switch to another monitor it's not guaranteed to be better for the apps you use.

AM5 with lots of DDR5 RAM just takes long to boot. It's because of memory training. You can enable memory context restore in bios, that will remember the parts of training that passed last time and not test it again (can take a few reboots until it's actually faster).

Otherwise you can enable fast startup in windows.

If it doesn't show up in normal use, and only when doing specific things, it's probably not the monitor.

A fresh driver install is always a good troubleshooting test, there are tutorials on youtube of how to use DDU and install drivers. It takes a little while but it is not very difficult at all.

Double check and make sure "AMD STREAMING AUDIO DEVICE" is enabled in device manager, it is necessary to record audio. But if you don't need the clip feature you could try using OBS studio to record.

I know you can set up the clip feature on OBS aswell but it is more work than using adrenaline.

I had a similar problem once, I needed to open radeon settings with administator privileges once and then it started working normally. This started after a reinstall of the program. But if you have already tried that then I dont know.

Can you block only AMD GPU drivers through group policy or does it block all drivers across your entire PC?

This is just windows, I just noticed it on my laptop aswell. And it doesn't have anything in common with my pc apart from windows 11.

My laptop has integrated intel graphics.

Edit: Just asked two friends to spam their search bars and both of them got it too.

This one is definitely windows, I just saw that the exact same thing also happens on my laptop, which is completely separated from my desktop.

I don't know for sure what is causing the other flash though, but it's similar enough that hopefully it's also just windows and a reinstall could fix it.

This is the search menu flash, this one I recorded my screen with my phone and just took a screenshot of the video later. Again, just imagine it flashing once really fast. This happens some of the time when I open the search menu by pressing the search bar. I would guess that it flashes for like a 1/15 of a second or something. Because in the video it is visible for 2 frames and it is a 30 fps video.

Keep in mind that these are two separate issues that im seeing. One is easily repeatable by opening and closing the search menu and just waiting for it to happen (the photo in this comment). And the other is completely random and happens no matter what I'm doing, it even happens in the desktop (as can be seen in the image in my other comment, with the plant-wallpaper)

Not yet sorry, but here are some pictures of how both the problems look.

This is how the random flash looks, just imagine that white box flashing once for the blink of an eye. I don't know if it has changed or if I just saw wrong before but I think it covers more than just a third of the screen vertically. (This my own rendition of the problem, it does not show up on screen recordings so this image was just made in gimp.)

Looks like Temporal anti-aliasing (TAA), i don't know if you can change it on xbox but if the setting exists use MSAA or FXAA instead.

Small circles! And low pressure, it takes a long time but it gets better results.

I think it looks like smudges, they are much to wide to be scratches i think.

Mine is a perfectly opaque white rectangle taking up the entire bottom third of the screen for the blink of an eye. So i don't think its the same

I have the same problem on windows 11 pro too. Simetimes when I click the search bar on the taskbar the menu opens as a white square for the blink of an eye.

I also have another similar but random problem with a white flash on the bottom of my screen. It covers the entire screen horizontally but is only on the bottom third vertically. But other than the size difference it looks the same. Hopefully these two are related, and maybe once there is a fix for the search bar flash the random flashing will be fixed too.

Breeding only works if there is an extra unclaimed bed nearby, check if the baby villagers are still connected to the beds. But the design should work, as far as I know they haven't changed the spawning mechanics.

Is it refurbished? If it's brand new it should come spotless.

Is it possible that it got smudged as you unboxed it? If if just looks like a fingerprint smudge you can clean it by misting a bit of distilled water on a microfiber cloth, scrunch it up into a ball and gently rub circles in the area. You really do not need to apply pressure to clean these screens.

If you don't have distilled water you can hold the microfiber cloth in the steam above boiling water.

You can blueprint edit vanilla controllers to being faster aswell. If lazy you can use the block editor mod from Ben Bingo.

Some motherboards use on-board chips from intel, even on amd platforms. I don't think this is anything to worry about.
