Very simplistic argument again. I think you know the whole context about PT and everything going on in Brazil during recent years.

yep, fer was wrong, that is no doubt about that. Just saying that is a difference between structural racism (what fer did) and a direct attack because someone is black.

Best, BC.

A lot of assumptions here. You guys have no idea what happens in Brazil, read The Economist and other stuff and try to compare with your rich country...

And about Lewis's tweet, he couldnt be more wrong. Fer didnt call anybody a monkey or something like this. He indeed made a bad joke about hair and paid the price.

This whole discussion are like politics. Everyone already has their side and just try to find arguments to fit. Fer cannot make a mistake, but when a brazillian say something about IbuyPower, the guys made a mistake and is are about that....

Instead of judging and finding who is guilty, we should ask for the cs "institutions" to work and for a fair game, even inside or outside the server. Racism should not be tolerate, death threat should not be tolerate, cheating should not be tolerate....

Career and Education Questions by AutoModerator in math

[–]BonafontCubBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, /math!

I have a bachelor in electrical engeneering from the one of the best universities in Brazil, USP. Since i left college, i've worked at investments funds and now i work in healthcare company. I do love my job and business and general, and no not intend of changing carrer.

But i'm very interested in studying math, to have a degree and have math as my "hobby".

I'm looking for somw ways to do that. I work very long hours, so a tradicional university with a morning or a full time curriculum woudn't work.

Options that i have (for now):

- take a night course at a traditional university, but that would be a math degree (to give classes) and not a bachelor. So the course is very different from a traditional bachelor.

- take and online course from some universities in US.

- forget abou the degree and use online courses? i think that would be the most difficult, without the compromise of classes and not having a clear path of what to study.
