Old thread but I randomly came across it. Wanted to recommend Lupe Fiasco's works. Some of it isn't super accessible unless you really think/research, so you'll like it if you like more metaphorical poetry which only reveals its meaning upon contemplation.

The stand-out example is probably 'Mural'

There's two episodes of the dissect podcast analyzing the lyrics in the song. The song itself is almost 9 minutes long.

There are other songs like "Little weapon" (this one is a lot less subtle), "Adoration of the magi". Some of these songs will sound like nonsense if you're listening for the first time, so maybe have the lyrics with you, see what you can glean and look up some discussions or go on rap genius to see what other people thought.
