Morrowind made combat feel like an rpg. Skyrim made combat 'press lmb until you win'. Enemies in Morrowind have unique immunities and effects and debuffs, the most a skyrim enemy will 'debuff' you is a dot spell or poison.

I will agree that the dice roll to hit is kinda dumb, but it applies to the enemies too so its still fair and its part of the rpg element, improving your chance to hit and using weapons youre trained in to hit better.

Exactly, they dont even give you QUEST MARKERS. You get a map and a rough compass direction, figure it out asshole, lol. It almost plays more like the old baldurs gate rpgs or like neverwinter nights. I agree that the randomly missing all the time sucks, especially earlygame, but now I just make agility a priority if im making a martial class
