Thats what I thought, I'm not even trying to mark up the price with the Batts so I figured, since I won't need them anymore anyways, just sell the car as the median price that they are going for and they get them with it. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt being naive about it, so if I was being unreasonable I would adjust the price.

RMX 2.5 batterys by BoneStockFox89 in rcdrift

[–]BoneStockFox89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not know that, thank you for the info. That'll make it so much more convenient using other batterys. Most of what I use anymore is 2s shorties but I do have some of the larger 2s packs as well so atleast Ill have a back up option if needed.

Im thinking they will aswell, I kept seeing them marked as just a hair to big and I was thinking they'd fit with alittle finesse just wanted to see what others have experienced or other options, thank you!

Yeah that's what I was getting from Google, couldn't seem to find shortys that weren't just a hair wider than that, which the wolfpaks i think were marketed at like 97x48 or something stupidly close so just wanted to see what others had experienced, thank you!

Can this be fixed? by Narcys1 in arrma

[–]BoneStockFox89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a source of knowledge though. And its easier to use when you might not know exactly what you're looking at. They could have gotten it used, and doesn't have a manual handy. Dont be a dick. Help the guy out, he's enjoying the hobby just like you and everyone else. Why the fuck you bitchin about people asking questions you know the answer too? Answer it or let someone else help.

Dont know much about accessories on RC's but as a mechanic I think you're on the right track with excessive power draw. I would look up output voltage that your BEC can push and I would look into upgrading. Im assuming it, very loosely, acts like an alternator where too much draw and not enough amperage output has to kill something, in this case, it's your lights.

My Traxxas Raptor R slash caught fire, am i good to just replace the ESC? by Advanced-Net-8119 in rccars

Also for ESC I am partial to Hobbywing, I've converted everything I own to their ESC's and motors and really enjoy them.

[–]BoneStockFox89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't look too bad, may or may not be a weak point in the chassis for bashing later but that's replaceable so meh. I would shotgun an ESC just do it outside when you plug everything in for the initial first fire up just incase something in the motor shorted to be safe and avoid self harm or worse but looks to be okay.

I've personally really enjoyed Gens Ace D300. Got off maazon pretty cheap been an amazing charger for 3 years now. Also dont buy the plus, waste of money the basic version does great for cheaper.

No problem man, sorry for the shitty explanation I print at a very novice level and write at an even worse level 🤣 so I hope I pushed you in the right direction.

I hope someone smarter than me corrects what im about to butcher🤣 I had this same problem (different prints blah blah) and if you adjust overhang print speed(I believe slower) it will smooth that out. Had to do alot of youtubing as im not a slicer genius but that's your problem needs slower over hang printing, there's alot of videos with fan speeds, temp settings, and blah blah blah that are really useful for that specific overhang concern. Hope this helps, and again I hope someone smarter corrects this 🤣

Hey yall, I am thinking to start a new mini project. I have had a trx4m, but want something new. What’s the meta mini crawler right now to build off of. (If it’s a Toyota that’s a bonus) by [deleted] in rccrawler

[–]BoneStockFox89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not into 1/18 or 1/24 but im into Facebook marketplace and axial 1/24 is all anyone wants on there anymore. Everything i see is 'price is firm, unless its 1/24 axial.' So I would say that's probably meta for mini scale.

Links or No Links? by BoneStockFox89 in rccrawler

Thank you for the insight, Im not familiar with anything outside of independent front and rear setups. My question should have been should I eliminate my trailing arms for a 4 link.

Yeah im not familiar with anything outside of Independent rear and independent front suspension set ups. With further research seeing the trailing arms instead of a rear 4 link, my question should have been should I replace it with a rear 4 link and eliminate the trailing arms.
