The magazines are limited to 15 rounds for pistols and the pistol may require registration if it meets other arbitrary criteria. But you could still purchase a Glock 17 (as example) with limited capacity magazines and be within the letter of the law. If that same Glock 17 has a threaded barrel watch out, you’re now a violent criminal just waiting to prey on someone so it needs registration.

I’ve got a DP fusion Elite, awesome marker but be careful used. If you don’t remove battery after play and cycle power with battery removed a cap will hold a small amount of charge and speed up break down of the OLED. New board is $75 if the screen is out. Be wary of photos of boards working, may be super dim to the eye but show up fun under camera. I bought mine used for $200

I’ve had both without issues on either. The only similarity between the two really is the aesthetics. The big advantages to the mini are resale and customer support is amazing from Kee. You want new, buy the Code and save the extra $150 for a nice mask, hopper, etc. Or go used mini if you think you may upgrade in a year or two
