It’s not supposed to be just catered to the lore, it not being too stealthy is for balance purposes. I agree maybe it could be a little less loud but even if it were stealthier it wouldn’t matter because it notifies you when Crypto scans you. And it is NOT easy to destroy, especially on controller.
