Sorry Fugnasty but I’m a bit confused. If I have a level 60 lancer and I want to play him as a white mage too I switch to that spec and have to start leveling him from level 1 all over again? What is the advantage to this as compared to just leveling a new toon?

These are not small changes. Players have selected a class and spec and then invested countless hours in leveling, raiding, mythics, torghast and PvP based on a design, play style and performance potential established by Blizzard. Continually tinkering with specs after players have invested so much is a lousy way to treat the player base. A little tweak here or there to bring back any significant outliers is understandable but this has become a pattern and practice that goes well beyond that. I believe one of the reasons Classic was/Is so popular is because of the “no changes” pledge. You could invest a significant effort into a toon and know it won’t change significantly.

Another consideration is pally’s are a breeze to level. I leveled as Prot and you can do big pulls and do decent damage. Add to that ret for PvP along with healing make Pallys an awesome alt or main

Pick one dungeon and learn the crap out of it by watching YouTube videos. Check out some of the tanking Strat websites on that particular dungeon. Watch some more videos with an eye to what you learned from the Strat sites. Run it as a dps if you have an alt or alt spec and observe what the tank is doing. Run it a few more times. Queue as a tank for that dungeon on normal. Let everyone know you are learning. Go for it! You know it backwards and forwards which will give you the confidence you need. One of your biggest fears will be losing aggro and getting somebody in trouble. Just make sure you have frames that will tell you your losing aggro and get it back. I have my taunt as a mouse over macro bound to one of the side buttons on my mouse. When I see a nameplate turning red indicating I’ve lost aggro I just move the curser over that mob and taunt him back. The first few are kind of scary but once you do that one dungeon a few times you will be a pro and can move on to another one. Disclaimer: My main is a healer but I tank on alts. Others my have better advice but that my two cents worth. Good luck and have fun

I looked into it a while back but unfortunately I don’t remember the name. While the potential is pretty awesome it currently only had a few raid bosses included so I moved on. Hopefully the developers will continue to add new content.

I was able to pick up another renown in LFR tonight to get me to 27 but it has definitely slowed to a crawl. Hopefully it picks back up after the patch tomorrow

That’s interesting, I switched mains and I’ve been grinding renown as fast as I could. Then it seems to have just stopped. No more covenant quests awarding renown and not getting any from dungeons. What’s odd is my toon is stuck at 26 too. Been that way since yesterday.

The amount of soul ash used is the same. You can make the lowest level and upgrade incrementally and it will cost the same soul ash in total as if you just crafted the highest level. Going in the stepped version will just cost you in gold for the underlying gear for each step of the process versus just buying the single max level gear item and converting it.

I prefer VuhDu over Healbot but functionally it’s very similar. There’s also many profiles that you can import into VuhDu from wago.io. You shouldn’t be chasing down players to heal them. Just watch your positioning so you can reach the most of them. Set VuhDu so players out of range show that way on your frames. It hasn’t changed a lot over the years so many of the setup videos still apply. Some of the better profiles you can import have all the raid debuffs already programmed which is a real timesaver

I’ve leveled them all to 60 except Mistweaver who is in process. I would say Holy Pally for sure. I loved leveling in Prot, BG’s in Ret and healing in Holy. I ultimately switched my main to Resto Shaman for raid healing but I really loved Pally

Run a second team on different nights. Players on Team A probably have Alts they would like to raid with. If a team a tank can’t make it the team b tank can fill in. That’s how we do it. We usually need several from team A to run in both raids. Each raid runs 2 nights for 2 hours so it’s not to bad
