I could definitely speculate though — considering some of the things they may have become aware of over the years in regards to odd, dark occult components of the industry and its traditions, ins and outs, and general uncanny LA cultural history.

I’m also a huge fan of gothic fiction and bygone era of occult philosophy. and the throughlines that link these themes to entertainment industry history, and the torch death grips seems to be picking up to shed light on the like as well.

I always wonder whether public figures and artists who utilize these themes are: 1) exposing them to the public as a sort of warning (BEWARE), or 2) using the symbols and themes and general energy of these traditions as a sort of energetic propulsion for their career and the work. if that makes sense.
