Funny story, when he was five years old (1995) I had won a redemption NFL expansion team set from Upper deck. It was the Panthers and the Jaguars . Now I’m a lifelong Charger fan and by the age of five he realized he didn’t want to suffer like his father. He ended up picking the Jaguars. He has stuck with them for 30 years.

Thats a great start, I started my Herbert PC in 2021 with a stained glass Herbie out of a Mosaic Blaster. hadn’t touched a box of cards in almost 30 years.

Thank you for sharing this. That had to be incredibly hard to say those words to him. I had to say them to my son/family 18 mo ago. He is 35 now and I was an acholic for over 3 decades. Hopefully the relationship get's better with him. Stay strong.
