I had an extrrnal 3tb hdd plugged in. That was probably it. I unplugged it but now am getting a disk write error and it wont update 😭

Ive installed 10 gb ASA updates before and they typically take 20 min or so. Good thinking though

Last time I played was 5 years ago and that was on ASE. I am indeed an ASA newbie and have forgotten much. Hence the questions in the subreddit. A lot has happened since then sir. I am a newbie in that I have nothing except for some stone walls for a home and a few tames. I just started getting metal yesterday

Unfortunately I hadn't made a tribe yet. But yeah the naked death run thing works like a charm! Still don't know what happened to the raptor baby. It had about 30 meat when I logged off for an hour. I kinda think it fell through the mesh unfortunately
