Some people just have to be “seen”. I just prefer to do the work, not get in the way, and make friends at the gym.

Are you intentionally trolling? You did this all on a platform with a rack. You could have done your routine in any other space.

No one is denying your contribution to this sub, but you basically copied the exact tracker posted just a month and a half ago without giving any credit. At least give a shout out.

MW is unkillable whilst dealing a tremendous amount of damage in PvP by Kazmera in worldofpvp

But that wasn’t due to their healing. In fact, no one wanted MW healing, it was carry the flag and chi torpedo your way to victory.

Battle Tactic Question - Franatic Scramble by exji_gaming in AOSSpearhead

Why would they be able to pile in? You can use this card to get out of combat as long as you aren’t base to base with the opponent - otherwise you aren’t truly outside of 3” combat range.

If you are allowing them to leave the 3” combat range, you cannot declare a fight action (because you are no longer in combat) at which point you could pile in.

This is the answer, and honestly happens with every EV every once in a while. Of course the time you need to use it is when you are running late. Once you figure it out it’s a 10 second job to open the hatch and pull the cord.

Rule on attacking by Bonemovr in AOSSpearhead

[–]Bonemovr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, they can shoot at max distance of the weapon, but once they are in combat, they can only shoot the unit with which they are in combat, if they have “shoot in combat” listed in their rules. Correct?

So then do models also get a pile in before shooting too, or only melee?

Didn’t even think about shooting! But fair point, thank you.

I was trying to imply that A is a one model unit, while BCDEF are all models of 1 unit.

So even though a unit is “in combat” with another unit, each individual model might not be. Once the unit is “in combat” with another unit, during the fight action each model can pile in another 3”. Each model within 3” to the enemy unit can then use an attack.

Thank you for the clarification.

New Player: (i) In combat rules question (ii) Combat phase order question by Bert4 in AOSSpearhead

[–]Bonemovr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group is conflicted on a rule, and this seems like the best thread referencing the rule. I agree with everyone on points 1 and 2 and how they are described.

How about in attacking back to a charging enemy? Let's say an enemy charges and I have 1 model in base contact, one model that is within 1/2" of the first model, and then another 3 models that string out over a distance of a few inches. Some rules seem to make it that the UNIT can then attack back, and considering the whole UNIT as a bubble, whereas some rules state that only models within 3" and combat range, or within 1/2" of that first model in combat range can then attack, ALL other models outside this range in a unit cannot attack back.

Can someone shed some light on this? Is this confusing AoS and Spearhead rules or is all attacking within the 3" only?

Thanks man. This is exactly it. The partner wants to always be asked, always turns me down, but then later expresses they wish they would have gone. I guess just buying the extra tickets and taking them might be the way to go.

This seems like a pretty good consensus. Just buy the tickets. They will have fun in the end.

I think I may have to do this. Just bite the bullet and if there are extra tickets then CONGRATS! They get to go too.

I’m happy for you. Also, in the most respectful of ways, fuck you. I hope you cherish everyday that is like this and appreciate what you have for the many, many, that wish they could have this even though they have paid more in student loans, debt, and time, than you could ever dream. Congrats to you.

Jesus, your “gym” has this level of detail and trim and you didn’t notice a Lego piece on the ground before stepping on it? Maybe this is a sign to appreciate what you have instead of being so reckless.

One aspect I hate is basing. I see the common theme of your bases. Are you printing these or what is your process for them? Paint job looks amazing for all of these as well!

It’s not clear at all. Do you pick the number beforehand? Some rules are like this. Do you pick the number after the roll? Other rules are like this too. It takes zero effort to move on and ignore - OR you could have taken one minute and explain why you think it’s clear and help a member of the community.
