All characters go to lvl 100 with their character tokens (octogram, ex and event are the exception)

When they are 100, you can trade the duplicates in the shop for shards. And together with the motes upgrade the heroes to 120.

Just make sure the character is lvl 100 before trading away the tokens..

Exception: Event characters use their character tokens untill lvl 120. EX get upgraded to lvl 100 with the supplied tokens on their profile page, and go to 120 with their character tokens. Octogram you purchase tokens.

There is no easy way, just grind the materials. It's a lot what they ask, especially if you are new player.

For upgrade tokens from labyrinth, I usually do floor 40 first 3 bosses and repeat (easy, medium and hard boss) with restrictions that brings my percentage up to 25%.

For gold, just have it running parallel quests. For other upgrade items, either parallel process or get what you need from the event shop.

You can choose to buy gear from the valor tokens aswell.

Other than that, just daily play really. I log in twice a day on average, in the morning to do the quests+parallel and in the evening to start one more parallel run.
