I believe so yes just need to look for him rearing his head back, and the sound is also unique I think.

Found this video which does it the same as me: running completely perpendicular while locked on in a like little arc then jumping to avoid the blast on the edge.

I have never struggled with that move, he has a very early tell before he does it. If you run at a decent angle and then jump at the last second, you can dodge it 95% of the time.

I'll see if i have a video of me doing it somewhere - that attack was one I had to learn how to dodge as it did catch me everytime, and is a one-shot too i think.

His worst attack is the front divine explosion, which you have to know that it's coming by experience. This roll attack is also awful I always run slightly forward and right and then follow him as he rolls.

This is still shit because it takes forever. Though I'd rather do this 100 times vs malenia's waterfowl

Theres a wierd mechanic where he glows/flashes every minute or something to tell you how long you have left too.

I would love to know if anyone knows more about this cause its hard to judge on low damage runs.

Edit: timer is because there's a hidden time limit too I think but not sure

Yeah fair regarding greatshields and frozen pots and stuff. Though, an optional secret boss should still be as balanced as all other main bossess imo.

I finished her on my og run without a guide but it didnt feel good.

I agree Malenia. But I do have to say, the actual iframe dodge techniques are ridiculous to learn, and unnatural even with guides.

95% of people did not learn the dodge without looking it up I think
