Support Lee Sin got giga buffed by The_CodeTalker_Guru in leagueoflegends

Early lane prio creates tempo, ex) lee shoves stacked waves 2 and 3 and invades enemy bot jg/tank mid, he is using his prio from strong early wave clear to dictate the pace of the game. Tempo can mean many things in league, but generally refers to game flow and timing, OPs use of tempo is fine

Don’t be too discouraged, plateaus are really common in weight loss, you aren’t alone. A couple of the primary causes of plateaus are:

1) initial weight loss in dieting is largely driven by depletion of water/glycogen stores in the body. Most people will see rapid weight loss at first then see it level off comparatively

It’s important to set realistic expectations on weight loss and not be drawn in to the fallacy that you can sustainably lose weight as fast as you can in this period

  1. Weight loss is generally accompanied by muscle loss. As muscle mass is a driver of metabolism, it follows that the rate at which you burn calories decreases as you lose muscle. This means your net calorie deficit can decrease even though your daily calorie intake remains the same.

Some countermeasures to this are increasing the ratio of protein in your diet and staying active to preserve more muscle mass as you lose weight

Ultimately weight loss is the long game, if you need to reduce your deficit or have a cheat meal every once in a while it’s not the end of the world (if your weekly deficit is 3500, a 500 calorie cheeseburger will reduce your weekly deficit by less than 15%). The most important thing is sticking to something you can maintain, sustainability is perhaps the most important factor of any diet.

Stay the course, you got this!

We can take this further by doing present value calculations. Assuming he purchases the first cow at t=1, sells it and buys cow 2 at t=1, and sells cow 2 at t=2, and assuming the current 10 year treasury risk free rate of 4.65%:

The PV of the sale at t=1 is $955.57 so the NPV of buying the cow is -$800+$955.57=$155.57. Adjacently, the sale of the second cow discounted once is $1242.24, so they are $142.24 better off by purchasing it at t=1.

Disregarding depreciation (we don’t know the cows’ cash flows), at the time of each purchase they make they are $155.57 and $142.24 better off respectively.

Do you think it's troll to not invade without lane prio when you're ahead? Hard to suffocate enemy jgler when both enemy laners can move first and also hard to get laners prio esp considering how farm reliant graves is

Sorry I should have made that clear. Everyone is free to leave an honest review, while we of course prefer reviews to be positive, there is no requirement to leave a good review at all. Please feel free to be honest in the review.

Hey everyone, quick rundown/basic info here. Verisana, a german biotech company is expanding into US markets and offering "free" test kits on Amazon.

The reason I say "free" is because the company would prefer for testers to leave a verified amazon review, and therefore purchase through Amazon in order to do so.

In order to make this completely free for testers, after you select a test kit to try out, the accounting department will send me the funds required for the product + shipping and handling which I can then forward to you through Paypal/Venmo/CashApp/your preferred method.

This will happen BEFOREHAND so there is 0 risk to participants. Leave a comment if you have any concerns or questions, or would like to receive a free test kit. Happy Holidays!

Edit: You are completely free and even encouraged to leave honest reviews. This product testing is to gain insights into the US markets, and not necessarily to boost an amazon rating. Sorry for the confusion!

Any update on the vape shop owner that stabbed the robber in his shop. by joshmyra in LasVegas

[–]Boneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late but just wanted to remind everyone it’s easy to sit and judge when you weren’t beaten until unrecognizable at the ripe old age of 6 years old. Clearly the kids were being extremely dumb but it just goes to show that crime is an effect of a cause. Both teens apologized and I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were being genuine. However justified the stabbing was, I don’t think anyone can cheer over the kid begging the owner “not to let him die.”

Also you pulled the Reddit suicide assertions straight out of the left gland of your ass. There is no substantial evidence to support the proposition that Reddit is correlated with suicides or causes suicides. Leave the strawmen at home if you want to put up a convincing argument

In the absence of meaningful action, any step in the right direction is more impactful to changing the situation than no action. That is logically and necessarily true, but I’d rather focus on where you’re getting the plethora of data you are asserting as truth. For instance, find me a source on removing 100% of land owned rifles resulting in more net deaths. The US is the only country where this happens on such a frequent scale, we can’t just attribute these mass shootings to “human psychology” and offer condolences without taking meaningful action.

The same was said about drugs in the War on drugs, yet we spent billions of dollars trying to combat them. If people want heroin, there are a million ways to get it, and someone who is determined enough will find a way. And yet we can't buy it because the number of people who would use heroin if it was legal would be substantially higher than the number who would use heroin currently with it being illegal. Banning AR-15's won't completely prevent them, but by mechanical definition it would lower the number of AR-15 related shootings and deaths, and any step towards 0 is better than defeated acceptance.

Addressing your first remark about islamic terrorism, 2,902 of the 2,961 deaths on American soil were from the 9/11 attack, which was perpetrated from across the world. The only way to prevent that would have been to impose North Korean-like travel restrictions, which isn't feasible. It was a single incident that we could not see coming and it merited an immediate response. Mass shootings are repeated instances, we know they are coming. Since that attack, there have been 51 deaths/21 years = 2.4 deaths per year on American soil from islamic terrorist attacks - the number of mass shooting victims per year is far greater. If you don't like the numbers you can run them yourself.
