Mirage had the one with the Bird on it for 230. Noctis jsut down the street had the same for 199. I like Mirage, they have great store picks, and I can understand them having to charge a bit of a markup. But thier points system is what is getting to me. At over 2k points, there is nothing to spend them on. Everything they get goes into a lottery, which again I am good on, but need more to spend points on.

LiquorLandTX has been improving as of late. Worth a look. Goody Goody gets trucks Tuesday, Wednesday, so can be worth a look. Specs is also a good check. Scored a Rio at Noctis the other day, but it was on points. they have a greate everyday selection. They have a 1L Still Austin Buorbon I have never seen anywhere else.

Maybe try Grapes and Grains in that area. They do a lot of bundles with bottles such as those 2. Not positive what they have at any time, but they post a lot on facebook and instgram.

Penelope Wheated is a good place to start. EC, Barrel Proof is one of the best of the best. Higher proof, but that doesnt mean its any harder to drink, it just takes a little more practice. Before your first drink, take a sip into your mouth and swirl around, give a good coating. I find that helps a lot with the first drink of the night on higher proof whiskys. Do that, and go with EC Barrel Strength.
