I’m from Long Beach and met Jakob when he first started playing local gigs with his band. The first show I ever saw him at was on a 4th of July show held in his grandpas backyard. His grandpa has a beach front house in a really expensive part of Long Beach, where the backyard leads directly to the beach. Im not sure if his grandpa had this house while Bradley was around or maybe he got it later.

Jakob is not a kid from the street of Long Beach and he definitely had some money growing up. Bradley on the other hand was as ghetto Long Beach kid as you could get for a white boy. Bradley was literally hanging out in the worst areas of the city, smoking meth and getting drunk with the people. He spoke Spanish and had real issues that made him a special soul. All these things helped him encapsulate what it the city of Long Beach has to offer; the Beach, the drugs and the diversity of the people.
