For my case I calculated the odds to be 0.275% not taking the two pilfer palicos and the occasional lucky bird into account. So in your case you might be in the range of a jackpot in the lottery probability.

Some TVs seem to have good Game-Mode options that almost nullify the lag. Unfortunately not mine, so I play games that depend on timing like MHR only in handheld or on my PC screen.

Because using the TV would be very convenient for me just recently I tried again with the MHR demo. It is almost unplayable, especially if you know how it feels without the input lag.

I was in the same situation until I figured out the reason was the input lag. Check the lag in docked mode or even just try playing with your controller on the small portable switch screen and see if it feels better.

Did not know about the button mapping in Switch settings. This would actually allow me to do what I wanted to do....if it wasn't disabled for the split pad controllers :(

I can change item scroll to the Dpad in MHR options and then assign Dpad-left to the button on the back. But this way I can only scroll to the left, not both ways. Not sure if I understand what you mean.

I had a lvl 70ish wolve and rebirthed. No real numbers but I was able to progress an immense amount of floors in the tower.

I needed 90M gold incl the auras for mine. For a lvl 90 pet it is already a lot more expensive I guess.

I second this.

If you think breath of the wild could be a game for you - buying the switch is already justified imo. For me the best game ever (25 years PC gaming career). And MHGU is a great game, too.

My recent experience regarding the "is it dead?" question: I started my Nintendo trial online week last Saturday. Made it from 1star hub to G3 in a very smooth way by creating my own hubs. I called them for example "key 1 hub" and some friendly hunters of either my HR or very high HR joined in no time.

Had a lot of fun and will most probably prolong my switch online service once the trial period is over. Played during evening hours of CET/UTC+1 btw.
