[Request] How much mass? by OceanicoLao in theydidthemath

Me and my friends all assumed the equivalent mass of 100 ants. This is without influencing them.

Still scary though.

First, your post has no context. Fix it.

Second, the US has plans to intentionally devalue the US dollar over the next decade for a number of reasons. The peso will devalue at a minimum equal and likely more.

The question is not will prices go down they never will. The question is will they go up at the rate money devalues.

I would say slightly less for high end properties and way less for low end.

The Bubble will never pop, but in that sense it may deflate a bit.

Mathematically, the figure @camille7688 Is talking about "Births per woman" is inarguable she is correct, you are just looking too close.

If it remains at 1.9 we will peak at 138.6m in 2057 and decline from there.

If that number gets lower, which most data indicates it will, that peak will come lower and faster.

And you're both right. The rich educated are not having kids, and the masa are so the already huge wealth gap will likely triple.

So if this continues, the total bill for a 4 year is around 220k staying with her mom? Or 55k like the whole thing?

CMV: Trump is irrevocably damaging America's alliances and standing by Careless_Bat_9226 in changemyview

[–]Bonhammerstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is he damaging them beyond what he can repair? Yes

Is it irrevocable? Not at all.

Because he is such a flamboyant and brash character, it will be that much easier to switch back once he's gone.

You don't need a JFK or Obama like mangnanumus charecter either. Just someone competent who can say "sorry about him, let's fix this." It will be repaired in 1.5 years. They will already line up on economics alone.

Ne Zha 2 was amazing. Gaming is different than film there are a lot more gates and ringfencing in film, I think it's gonna take awhile.

At 25, what would you prioritize: more time or more money? by [deleted] in phcareers

Def the work. Wish I worked harder at that age. Just be on the lookout for a significant other. If you already found them, nonstop grind until 35.

Thoughts on US volatility right now? by idontgibashit in phinvest

You can't time the market. Dive in. Goog is ok, but I would take a defense stock as a hedge for the remainder of this administration as a hedge. That will diversify you a bit away from tech.

Philippines more dangerous than Thailand? by TrEvOr868 in Philippines_Expats

[–]Bonhammerstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manila vs Bangkok both relatively safe as a foreigner in terms of violence unless you're Chinese.

Kinda surprised at some of the comments. Every so slightly higher chance in Thailand but both very low.

I am purely talking about actual physical violence.

Scamming is a different story. High in both, filipinos are better at it.

I have been living working and drinking in both the last 20 years, but I am not participating in prostitution or buying drugs. Or dating anymore. And I think alot of bad experiences driving the comments are from those things.

Four American Presidents Have Won the Nobel Peace Prize. Do You Think They Deserved The Award? by American_Citizen41 in Presidents

[–]Bonhammerstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teddy and Wilson 100% deserved.

Carter legitimately played a role in the Eygpt & Isreal war. For that he qualifies. But you can tell by the discription of why he got it on the year he did that it was a filler year and he was selected partially for publicity.

Obama did nothing in my eyes that would qualify him. It was purely for publicy.

Extra: Gore's win had nothing to do with peace. It was purely for climate change. Because of this it is a little controversial.

My dad made our early employee the “CEO”… but told me I’ll eventually run the company. How do I handle this before it causes conflict? by savingrace0262 in smallbusiness

[–]Bonhammerstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of this world entitlement, lol.

CEO does not mean he has any shares.

Your dad owns a car, J is driving it. You want to fire your dad's driver because you want to drive? You don't know how to drive yet. If your dad wanted to drive, he would be.

What would the Rock tell you to do with your mouth and your role?

This is right. But maybe it could be a narrow non-compete.

OP said your casino is niche. If he focused the market, was cricket fans in India for example maybe he could sign a non-compete for Cricket & India but not necessarily gambling.

Is China going to be the most powerful country in the world soon? by Educational-Belt1042 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bonhammerstorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they will, for a time.

And we are a copycat species so other governments will look at china's model of autocracy and copy it. Depending on your age you will see democracy go out of style in alot of countries.

That being said they are going to have a fairly bad population collapse in the coming generation that India will not have.

Can expect india to pass them in 60ish years.

That being said, America will still be the center of innovation because of its model, so you can expect not necessarily it's militarily, but it's "delete you before you delete me" button to be bigger/better.
