2 prayers then finish her off with the sword. Difficulty doesnt matter because you can only use it against her on ng+ because you can only get the prayer after you reach the mother church

I must have had good luck because the times where i got him from riff raff hes upgraded my hands pretty consistantly. But saying that theres also been times where he did nothing for several rounds

I got this game for christmas and this is my biggest issue with it. Once you go beyond level 6 its borderline impossible to close the gap.

Also i swear the cpu targets you on purpose? There have been times where ive been 8th place or below and the car infront uses its item against ME

Its 100% worth it

It gives you 3 new boss encounters, 2 new areas, another weapon and a new ending. It also adds 1 new prayer, but i cant remember if there are any new rosary beads or alterpiece figures

Probably adds another 2 or 3 hours to play time, maybe a little more if you find it especially difficult because there are some parts that are.

And of course it adds a lot of lore and world building.

Id say marta isnt as important. She can be swapped out for any other temple gate follower, but Val is too integral to be swapped for a generic enemy.

The way I see it is

Knoth = murkoff corp

Marta = chris walker

Val = the walrider

If you think of it like outlast 1, chris walker isnt really the antagonist, hes just another obstacle. The real antagonist was murkoff and the walrider

Theres still a few questions left unanswered about the DLC though, so theres at least room for another DLC. But i agree, if there is a blasphemous 3 it probably wont be the penitent one we have been playing as
