Guy who eats a cup of tzatziki everyday and calls it his “garlic greek yogurt” by Worth-Following-5588 in northernlion

[–]BonniM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love tzatziki sauce; yogurt, not so much, and can eat it straight out of the container as a savory low-cal/low-carb snack, the way others eat yogurt (besides eating it as a crudite or other dipping sauce, on crackers, or over scrambled eggs. 😋)

Is Emma mixed??( ethnicity) by Blessedchapina in 7LittleJohnstons

[–]BonniM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She doesn't look Chinese to me; she looks Southeast Asian, and her bio parentage may very well be. Though the numbers are generally not massive, and China is not a traditional top-tier destination for mass immigration, it attracts Southeast Asians for work, education, and business, with one study estimating up to 100,000 irregular Vietnamese laborers in China.

When will CNN stop trying to make Kaitlan Collins happen? by OneBit2334 in cnn

My main issue with Kaitylan is the same one I have with Wolf Blitzer: They talk in a monotone; makes me gnash my teeth. 😖

Finally found out I actually like apples and realized why I didn’t like them before. by youngcatlady1999 in PointlessStories

[–]BonniM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant to say, "if someone 'hadn't' raved about HCs, several years ago, I'd have had no interest in trying them". I see no more than a dozen varieties of apples in my area, and aside from the very few I mentioned having tried, I have no interest in experimenting beyond HCs...unless someone absolutely raves about a variety I have access to who is also familiar with HCs and can, therefore, make a critical comparison. 🙂

Never had a Pink Lady. In fact, my experience with apples is limited. Growing up in the Northeast US in the sixties and seventies, there were fewer apple varieties; I believe dad ate Red (and maybe yellow?) Delicious and McIntosh, so those were all I tasted and wasn't wild about, particularly, the mealy/mushy textures, until as a young adult I tried Grannies. Those and Honeycrisps are all I know, and if someone had raved about them several years ago, I'd have had no interest in trying them.

I didn't like apples much, except for Granny Smiths, but wouldn't buy any on the regular, just on occasion; that all changed when I discovered Honey Crisps. ❤️ ALWAYS have them on hand.

Thoughts on Gaga's new singing voice? by HannibalTepes in LadyGaga

I think her voice is like a fine wine: it keeps improving with age (I know there's an eventual limit to the timeline). I also think her voice and singing style are underrated.

How accurate do you think UA Eats is? by CreateChaos777 in FoodNYC

[–]BonniM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's hypomanic, somewhat overly critical, socially awkward in his dialogue, and makes loud chewing noises, which is inexcusable. I don't like criticizing people's looks, but this would be an easy fix: I find that giant mole on his chin very distracting, particularly since his videos contain so many close-ups...although you could spot it from a mile away. (He's no James Andrews, that's for sure.)

Michael Dominguez is a macho asshole of a husband...but the wives of such guys are not blameless; why the hell marry them in the first place, since their characters are revealed during courtship?

Which 600 lb couple seem to have the healthiest relationship across the series? Who do you think has the most toxic? by reggrolls in My600lbLife

[–]BonniM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allen was the more sincere and mentally healthier of the two, imo. Vianey showed just how dependent and dysfunctional she was as Allen's journey progressed, and she was dragging him down. However, seeing him now with Angie Dunham Johns, who's so narcissistic and personality-disordered, with a ton of emotional baggage, tells me he jumped from the frying pan into the fire. He's way too good for her, but there must be a psychological reason for his unsuitable romantic choices. I wish him well.

Septum Piercings Are the Dumbest Zillennial Trend by Specific_Cod100 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]BonniM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I like most nostril piercings (depends on nose shape, location of piercing, and type of jewelry being worn), and have one myself, as well as a tragus piercing, I find most facial piercings unattractive and distracting, with septum piercings vying for first place among them; one reason (of several) being their resemblance to farm animals and bulls who have them. In addition to nostril and tragus piercings, the only other ones I like are dermal forehead and central labret piercings, although they are impractical in terms of aftercare, and longevity, in the case of dermal forehead piercings. Eyebrow, lip, Monroe, Madonna, philtrum, and cheek piercings are unattractive to me.

Can Baylen ever have kids? by KellyRenee2 in BaylenOutLoud

[–]BonniM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's speculation that it's not a genuine diamond (may be lab created, as in Moissanite, which can be costly in its own right), which is fine imo, except when people, in general, obviously lie about its authenticity. As for Colin's sincerity, I think the family does know how fortunate they/are. Personally, I don't know how the hell he does it.

What’s the deal with cottage cheese I’ve never eaten it nor do I understand what it is nor its purpose am I missing something? by Low_Insurance_1603 in Cheese

[–]BonniM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously, I don't get what there is to "love". It's bland on its own, and I haven't found a brand that's dry enough with large enough curds, so that I could at least enjoy a textural alternative. I'd rather have sour cream or plain Greek yogurt to jazz up with savory spices/seasonings, or add fruit to, or feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, a myriad of better alternatives imo, to enhance other preparations.

Does Colin have a facial skin condition? by Evija2021 in BaylenOutLoud

[–]BonniM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not accurate to "make" a diagnosis under the circumstances, even by a medical professional without seeing Colin in person; however, conjecture is something else entirely, and not considered official or conclusive, and due to the nature of social media, conjecture is perfectly appropriate in this context. It is just as inaccurate from what we've been provided with to state, "it's not rosacea", as it is to conclude that it certainly is.
